We rear, clean, package and sell premium Duck Meat, at various stores within Trinidad & Tobago. Central Farms, located at Milton Road, Couva, Trinidad, for over twenty-five (25) years, is the twin-island nations’ premier supplier of locally reared duck meat. Established as a family business, Central Farms has since then grown to be the largest duck farm in the Caribbean, with over forty-five (45)

permanent employees, and more than seventy (70) acres of dedicated farm land in the central region, Central Farms has cultivated a ‘paradise’ for ducks, to be able to live, eat, and grow free range, in an organic environment, allowing for a premium product free from chemicals and additives. Central Farms has earned many prestigious awards including a special award for Youth in Agriculture and 1st Place Livestock (2008) in the Agri-Entrepreneurial Awards held by The Ministry of Agriculture. Most recently, we have been able to extend the farm’s operations, obtaining EMA Certification and a partnership with UWI Department of Science and the Veterinary Lab to ensure a high quality standard, farm operation and product.

Our Story

Central Farms has been operating as a supplier of duck meat for the last 25 years in Milton Road, Couva. Central Farms was established as a family business and has grown to be the largest duck farm in the Caribbean, providing 45 permanent employees and their families with a livelihood in the central region. This does not include the many other hundreds of duck farmers and those indirectly employed in the industry. Central Farms has been successfully growing ducks by recreating their natural environment where they are able to graze free range.. We have earned many prestigious awards including a special award for Youth in Agriculture and 1st Place Livestock (2008) in the Agri-Entrepreneurial Awards held by The Ministry of Agriculture.
