🍀 'LUCKY' 🍀

I'm always full of emotions when a baby in this shape is found. I'm saddened by the condition, happy to know it's not sleeping another night on the streets and honored to be the first person y'all think of when a matted baby is posted on FB. My phone goes crazy with tags and phone calls!

I am , yet again, at a loss of words. This baby was found as a stray, hidden in the bushes amongst homes in the half a million dollar range. He didn't get this way overnight and NO the rain and elements didn't cause the matting. Notice he's a nice healthy weight. The only positive is he is fixed not that he could have 'done' anything because 'it' was matted to his belly and inside of his leg. 🥴😭

This baby is bruised(see photos) from the hair being so tight against the skin.

The suffering ends here... he's one of the lucky ones.

Due to extreme temperatures and my medical condition (I have graves disease and I absolutely can not do heat) , I will not do any house call grooming OUTDOORS in July or August.

All house call grooms must be indoors and in the air conditioning. Unless you want me on the ground and an ambulance 🚑 in your driveway 😂

Any outdoor grooming on what I consider tolerable temperatures in June or September will result in a separate $50 outdoor setup fee.

😭 Will the neglect ever stop 🛑

Betty White, the HUGE Great Pyrenees was found running a stray. Truly, because of her bone structure and shear size. She is skin and bones. Her toes are as long as my fingers and her paw is as big, if not bigger than my whole hand.
A sweet family tried to groom her because she was so matted. She came to me and got cleaned up before heading to her foster home!

Oh how I love my sweet Mimi. She was adopted from the City of Hernando Animal Shelter a few months ago. She is a tripod due to someone putting a rubber band so tightly around her leg it fell off 😭

Yesterday she was cleaned up in preparation for her first trip in the RV to Disney world in Orlando! safe travels Mimi! Send me lots of pictures with Mickey mouse 🐭
