Construction sites can unintentionally become gathering places for stray dogs. As bush is cleared and natural shelter disappears, animals are pushed into more visible areas — and the presence of food and activity draws them in even more. This was the case at the Andaz Turks & Caicos construction site, where a growing number of strays began to appear.
But instead of turning a blind eye, the Andaz team stepped up.
Recognizing both the immediate concern and the long-term impact of unchecked population growth, Andaz contacted SNiP to help responsibly manage the situation. More importantly, they didn’t stop there. They put their commitment into action by sponsoring January’s Spay Days — ensuring that this important work extends beyond their own site and supports stray population control across Providenciales.
