This Saturday our Alpha and his Miha competed at a group search & rescue competition, Talanov memorial. ⛑️

We are thrilled to report that Alpha & Miha, together with their two team mates, WON their category. 🏆

As always we are so very proud of Alpha who is so successfuly following in search & rescue footsteps of his mother, Ascomannis Umbra.

Hel doing one of his last tracking 🐽 training session before taking FH 1. On terrain similar to the one at trial. Since the grass was pretty high, we made the track interesting by crossing several ditches and a road. Hel is in very good tracking form, so hopefuly the trial should go smoothly. 🐾 Achilles by Tatiana Wagner

Yesterday Asha & Hel had their eyes 👁️ checked for PHTVL/PHPV and other defects.
We are happy to report neither of them is showing signs of any abnormalities. ✅

My supergirl. ❤️💪
We worked very hard to make Asha’s long attack as fast and strong as she is capable to handle. No matter the length or the “hardness” of helpers, she always gives it all she’s got and NEVER falls off. 🦾
Walking on the stadium at competitions, I may wonder if she will “out” 😈 but never if she will fall. 😇

CACIT Dobříš is not a “happy place” for me and Asha. 🙈
After last year’s disqualification in protection, we showed a solid, even good performance in B & C this year but ended up negative in A. I never expected we’d be negative in tracking but there you go. 🤷‍♀️

None the less, I am crazy proud of her work in protection. Despite the three additional commands for “out” in the first part (which cost us more than 10 points). 😬 She showed fight, focus and drive to the helper but still beautiful obedience to me (except for outs). 🤩

Now she’ll hopefuly 🤞 be taking a well deserved maternity break from competitions for a while. 🐶

Asha had the first part of cardiac🫀testing today - Doppler & Echo. We are beyond happy to report she shows no signs of DCM or other cardiac disease. 💪
In two weeks she is scheduled for Holter, to make double sure.

Our beautiful boy passed the national breeding licence today. 👏 With an excellent score for his exterior, no less. 👌
We are now officially ready for the mating of Asha & Hel. Pending some more health testing, which is not obligatory but necessary for our peace of mind.
