We are a small Slovene tornjak kennel, striving to better this beautiful, rare breed. Join us on our adventures! FCI 62/2021 and are treated as family members.

We are a small Slovene tornjak kennel striving to better this beautiful, rare breed. Our dogs live with us in our home and are not kept in crates. We opened our kennel in September 2021 and are hoping to have our first litter in 2023. Our goal is to better this breed and we swear by breeding only healthy, by-standard individuals. We believe tornjaks are a wonderful, smart breed that can be both an

amazing work dog and a great family dog. Our dogs are raised with love, socialized early and participate in dog shows regularly. Our current 2 females live with us in our house, behave well around strangers, cats, farm animals, etc. Our future puppies will be looking for homes where they will be respected, loved and their needs will be met. A contract will be signed that prevents any of our kennel's dogs from being tied on a chain or mistreated in any way.

Yesterday we participated in CAC Samobor with two of our dogs, Potica & Lada. Marmelada surprised us all and won JCAC, JBOB and BOB against several other dogs, including her sister, champion and open class female as well as a champion class male. At only 12 months old 🥰😍
She also went on to win rBIS Native Breeds, JBOG2 and was shortlisted in FCI2 group 🩷

Today is a day of spamming posts it seems!
But we couldn't skip this one.
Our M litter and our dear Ladibadi, Lada, Marmelada Buba Vinifera is celebrating their first birthday!!
I can't believe it's been one year already.

All of our pups are in wonderful homes and we wish all of them long, happy lives and many many more years with their families! 🥰

Two girls from our litters were pretty successful in 2025 show season and got the following results under SKVPM Top10 event:

Marmelada Buba Vinifera (Gord od Burzića x Palačinka Vala Liburna)
11th place while competing only in minor puppy and puppy classes that year 🥰

Potica Buba Vinifera (Foxtrot Fresco Tor Bohemia x Palačinka Vala Liburna)
2nd place 🥳🥳

Our girls are continuing to represent the tornjak breed in Slovenia as well as the rest of Europe and are following in the steps of their 2x WW, EW and SKVPM winner mother, Palačinka Vala Liburna, who won the Top10 challenge in 2022 and won 2nd place in 2023. She is also the only tornjak to ever win the SKVPM Top10 🥰

I would like to thank Slovenski klub za velike pasme in molose (SKVPM) and Zoltan Časar for organizing the Top10 for so many years now. It's truly a joy to participate in this event. 🩷

Photos and videos from KK Tornjak Zagreb 20th specialty show 2 weeks ago.
We got to see so many of our friends and it was overall a pleasantly spent day in great company.

Lava got to see her sister Marmelada after several months and they were so happy and excited. Palačinka, their mom, was less happy and worried we're bringing home another pup 😂

We got to see out dog's "extended family", Ruta & Reful VL and several dogs that are connected to our M litter through Burzić lines 🥰

We participated with 4 dogs which made me realize just how out of shape I am 😂
Marjetica from our breeding also participated and for the first time ever we got to apply a breeding group which made me really proud and happy. 🥰

On Saturday we attended Kup kralja Tomislava tornjak specialty in Tomislavgrad.
We participated with 3 of our females as well as our co-owned female and got amazing results. 🥰

All four dogs got wonderful descriptions. For Papalina the judge stated her movement is perfection and that she is an anatomically really nice female. Marmelada did not show herself well (my fault 😅) but judge praised her anatomy, structure and good temperament.

Judge is a breed specialist and a tornjak breeder himself so his kind words truly meant a lot to our fairly new breeding. ☺️

Potica Buba Vinifera (Foxtrot Fresco Tor Bohemia x Palačinka Vala Liburna) attended her breeding exam today.
She did really well, got an excellent score and successfully got her breeding license. 🥳
She was measured at 61cm.
She is also health tested with perfect hip and elbow scores.

We're very proud of our girl and look forward to her future litters. 🥰

We also attended Tibetan Specialty during Barje Winner Shows with our little tibetan terrier girl Taši/Felina (Ngo-ma Gyangkar x Abby Allegra).

This was her very first show and she competed in puppy class.
She was judged by Lorenzon Anna, a breed specialist who breeds this exact breed. She managed to get wonderful results:

- Best In Show Specialty Puppy 🏆

We are beyond proud of our little star. 🥰

We attended Barje Winner Shows this weekend.
The star of the show was definitely our Marmelada. 🥰

She is bred by us and is from a wonderful combination of Palačinka Vala Liburna x Gord od Burzića. She's 11 months old and we couldn't be more proud of what she's achieved at such a young age!

We also competed with Palačinka Vala Liburna (Ruta Vala Liburna x Feral Vala Liburna) who got:
- 3x CAC 🏅
- 2x rCACIB 🏅

and Potica Buba Vinifera (Palačinka Vala Liburna x Foxtrot Fresco Tor Bohemia) who got:

We also got to hang out with many of our dear friends.
On Friday on FCI2 specialty we were joined by Marmelada's father, aunt and half-brother with their owners Mirsada and Husnija Burzić. We had a wonderful evening and Marmelada's father won BOB and later her father and aunt won best in show couple! 🥰

On Saturday we were joined by my mother and her pup Taši as well as Matejka and her swissie Onni. It was another wonderful day spent in great company.

On Sunday we were joined by Igor, Anita and their son. Igor is our groomer and friend and we had a wonderful time catching up.

Overall this weekend was spent catching up with several of our friends, was very successful for our dogs and we hope to have many more shows like this one, successful but before all, spent in great company. 🥰

Happy birthday to our dear P litter! ❤

I can't believe our first litter is already two years old. It is like yesterday we were driving to Kateřina Válková without a clue of what to expect.
Two years later we have 7 wonderful pups all living wonderful lives with their owners. I am very proud of this litter and most importantly. I am happy that they are living happy and fulfilling lives with their families. 🥰

Marmelada Buba Vinifera (Palačinka Vala Liburna x Gord od Burzića) attended CAC Zagreb yesterday.

Not much love for her yesterday, she got exc3 but since several dogs got very good, we'll take it as a win 😅
Either way we had a nice time and it was a great learning opportunity for Marmelada. ❤

Marmelada Buba Vinifera attended Spring borderless Winner dog SHOW this weekend.
She competed with 6 other tornjaks. With not even full 11 months she managed to win the class on all 3 shows and also got BOS on 2 of the shows against open and champion females 🥰 We are very proud of Lada and all that she is achieving at such a young age.

- 2x BOS 🏅
- Junior Champion of Slovenia 🏆
