A closer look.

This year, we leaned into including a softer, pastel palette with this piece — lighter, gentler, and a little more romantic than what we’ve done before. The batik carries a subtle floral motif, a quiet nod to the florals we’ve loved in past years, reinterpreted in a calmer, more delicate way.

It’s been a crowd favourite so far, and we can see why — familiar, but refreshed.

Prosperity, joy, and togetherness.

In past years, our batik stories leaned into florals — familiar, celebratory, and unmistakably festive.
This year, we felt drawn to something different.

This fabric stood out for its abstract, almost contemporary rhythm. Less literal, more interpretive. The motifs feel layered and expressive, yet grounded in a colour palette long associated with prosperity and warmth for the Lunar New Year.

It’s a piece for those who appreciate tradition,
but don’t always need it spelled out.

Finished with mint-green Chinese button details for contrast and balance, this colourway carries a quieter energy — one that grows on you the longer you look, and stays relevant long after the festivities fade.

Sometimes, the least obvious choice
