[CPF Nomination]

It cannot be distributed by a will, they do not form your estate, and are protected by creditor claim on any outstanding debts.

Note : public trustee charges a fee for administering un-nominated CPF monies.

Questions to consider:
1) what will happen if I do not make a fresh nomination after one of my nominees had passed on?
2) what happens if my spouse and I only nominate each other and we die at the same time ?
3) Is my invested CPF monies protected from creditors and covered by CPF nomination?
4) what if my children are minors below age 21?

❤️ if you found this information useful for yourself/ your family & pm me if you wish to clarify on any areas.

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞; 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
( Volunteering at St Joseph home)

Volunteering at St Joseph’s, there were people from all walks of life. Some single, some married, and some with children, but all have gathered/ somehow landed in the same place.

While it’s so easy for us to say life isn’t worth living if we’re no longer healthy/ mobile, it’s heartening to see that these old folks are fighting & struggling to push on. Perhaps, they might have unfulfilled promises/ dreams/ aspirations.

Then, the inevitable topic about death floated in my mind.

Life and death are 2 sides of the same coin. However most of us spend more of our time dealing with life, rejecting the fact about the natural aspect of death.

Given that life is neither that short nor that long, did I consciously make a choice to spend it meaningfully in the pursuits that really matter?

Then, when I get to that junction someday, I hope that I can pronounce my own cheerful farewell, knowing I have made a positive difference, I lived for my eulogy, not resume.

[Lessons Learned From Making Many Mistakes in My 20s]

1.𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝑳𝒐𝒕 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆
The decisions you make NOW will shape the future of life.

You will gain clarity on how well you are spending your time by simply asking yourselves these questions:

How much time am I wasting on things that give me zero fulfillment?
Do I like my job?
Do I like the people in my life?

2.𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒔
“You're the average of the five people spend the most time with”

A large amount of how successful you will be in life comes down to the people you spend time with. Audit the people around you. The people around you will determine how you think, act, and ultimately how successful you will be

Spend time to learn and to buy people who are more successful/better than you a meal.

3. 𝑺𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑻𝒐 𝑩𝒊𝒈 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔
Make a choice to change the trajectory of your life if you’re not satisfied with where you are currently at right now. Committing to small changes can create momentum to affect your lifestyle and overall well-being.
Sometimes we make choices due to convenience – maintaining relationships that are toxic, careers we aren’t appreciated in and behaviors that don’t serve us. Whatever may be holding you back, begin to let go of that habit. It may not be all at once, but taking small strides that are in alignment with your path.

There are actually 7 other lessons we can learn from. Comment "winner mentality" if you wish to receive the full article

[Beautiful Story of how a HUSBAND WALKS THE TALK of his WEDDING VOWS.] Watch on to find out~

"𝘐, ___, 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘦, ___, 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘥/𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥, 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘳, 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩, 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩, 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘰 𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵"

It’s true that money can’t buy us happiness; however it can buy us time to accomplish the thing that brings us happiness/gives us meaning in life.

Comment “HOW” if you wish to know how you can be in control when life gets interrupted.

30 Great Reminders in absolutely adorable cute animal comics 🥰

The month of May is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness since 1949. I imagine the day when taking care of our mental health is a part of our life just like brushing our teeth, so that we do not need a month to remind us of it. And before that day comes, self-care is still a luxury for many.
