Minky and Toto/ FBoth of them dont really get along. From the last session, things have gotten better, less fighting but...

Minky and Toto/ F

Both of them dont really get along. From the last session, things have gotten better, less fighting but still not going very well. Minky will either be hiding or walking away from Toto. Has not really be able to co-exist in the same space without issues.

Told Minky not to be calculative with the sister as she is not the brightest and she will feel sad as she is always being excluded.

10mins after the session, owner texted me wth pictures of Minky allowing Toto to come nearer.

Its a Win!!

Get • Such a funny AC session with today 😂

Maia is happier as she feels she is now accepted by the rest of the cats. Showed Charlene an image of the 4 of them lounging together in the same space, even if there was a small distance between them 😍

Told Charlene she has realised that Nova reacts better when she approaches her slowly and cautiously (which was something we had been telling her all along 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Maia admitted that she does sometimes forget to do so, and I laughed when Charlene said Maia was reminding herself in the head “be gentle, go slow, be gentle, go slow” and even praised her own self for being “a good girl” 😂

She is also a little derpy kitty who doesn’t quite recognise or remember her name. Charlene says sometimes she knows, sometimes she doesn’t. Which is why she often shows no response when I call her name or responds when I call another kitty’s name 😅

X: Wait, you all don’t say anything first, listen to me first. Don’t rush to scold me first!
C: (chuckles) Okay, so what do you want to say?
X: (takes a deep breath) You can bring cats home, but don’t use my space. Not like there is no other space to stuff that cat. Why must you put the cat in MY KITCHEN?
F: (explains about isolation before vet visit)
X: Okay... But I am still NOT HAPPY about it. There are other ways, you know. Why cannot put at Mama’s workplace!
F: Already say cat haven’t seen vet cannot go there!
X: Then why can’t you put that cat at the vet clinic and wait until the doctor free to see her leh?
F: (explains that it is unnecessary costs)
X: (exasperated already) CAN ONE. The nice Uncle Botak (she is referring to her regular vet nurse at UVC 😂) will do it de. He always call me “good girl” and I give him face, I listen to him. Now you tell him I call him “good boy”, so gimme face, listen to me, and keep that cat in the clinic! Just stuff her somewhere!
F: (chortles) Edward 躺着也中枪!
C: You think board at clinic free ah? You want your own space, I tell your Mama to give you the toilet, you want?
X: Stop... I never ask for my own space. I only want to be able to go into the kitchen leh?!?
F: Or you can share the room with the dog!
X: (eyes lit up) Then put that cat with the dog lah!!! The dog room got space, right?
C: The dog only likes you leh. The dog will kill other cats. So only you can share with the dog.
X: I ALREADY SAY I NOT ASKING YOU TO THROW THE CAT AWAY. I just want to be able to GO INTO the kitchen whenever I want to!
F: (faints) We already say, cat hasn’t been to vet, cannot have any contact with any cats! Just tahan a few more days lah!!!
C: Why you like the kitchen so much???
X: Like that I am first to know when you all do my food. I also the first to ask Papa gimme his food.
C: You sit outside the kitchen door and wait, you also the first to see what!
X: (thinks) Hmm you have a point. But I still want my kitchen back!!!

Objective - To inform Haru of the upcoming travelling trip, he is to stay at home. Grandpapa will come over to baby sit him like before.��He just ask if Mama will come home and how many days. No anxiety, I’m impressed.��Ask if he has any messages to convey to the Mom, yes there is. Of cos, I asked Mama the same thing.��Co-incidentally both of them have the same message for each other.��Mom: Please just stick to the usual food portion, please stop asking your Grandpapa for extra food and treats! You are not hungry so stop scamming and pestering Grandpapa for food. He thought you are so hungry, because you’re meowing so pitifully!��Haru: Don’t be stingy okay, don’t stop Grandpapa from giving extra, he is so happy when he is feeding me, I am happy too.

Mom: CHARLENE! You know how much weight he put on during the last trip? He becomes so round, I’m shocked when I return home!!�we just manage to shed the weight, he cannot put back on!!!!!!

Me: Hahahahahahahaha… **shake head, no words***��

She is back to hiding from the rest of the gang few months after the session, back to her timid self.��Reminded her again what she can do if she wants to enjoy her life in this house, which technically belongs to her too.��Hours later, she decided to follow what we discussed during the session, is to come out and be confident. If need help, go to her parents and also to ignore the rest.

Part 2: My Behaviour

Meowmy asked why I meow emphatically at her sometimes, especially after my meals and grooming.

Auntie C to Meowmy: She wants attention. I asked her, “Do you want to play?” but she said no. She wants you to walk around the house with her.
Meowmy: Huh?? Ok, but usually when she meows at me, I’m still washing up and my hands are wet and soapy.
Auntie C to me: Mama has to wash YOUR dishes. You wait for her to finish.
Meowmy: Ya, I always tell her that my hands are soapy; I can’t touch her. She will wait behind me but when I’m done, she’s gone.
Auntie C: Then you go inside to look for her. I told her don’t need to walk so long. Just walk 5 mins.
Meowmy: 😆

Part One: On Food

Auntie C and Meowmy were amused by my thoughts on my current Bom Bom sous vide meals.

Auntie commented that I’ve been picky lately, so Meowmy reported that I’ve been acting this way ever since I returned from .sg last month, especially since Auntie fed me my Cherie canned wet food as special meals, and also treats on Christmas and New Year’s Days!

Auntie C to Meowmy: I have a few clients who also got picky after coming back from boarding there! I heard there’s a special menu. 🤣
Me: Over there, the food very nice 😻
Auntie C: She’s showing me that she will sit and look at her bowl. She’s actually hungry leh.
Meowmy: Then why don’t want to eat?! Why is she so distracted? Is she anxious? She keeps looking around.
Auntie C: She said not nice. I don’t sense that she’s anxious. She’s like wondering, “This is it?”
Meowmy: 😂😂😂

Meowmy informed her that we switched to Bom Bom to help with my skin issues, so Auntie C tried to explain it to me.

Auntie C: If you eat this food, you will become 美美 (beautiful). Your fur will be very soft. It’s good for you, then you don’t need to go back to the vet.
Me: I don’t want to go back. The vet poked me. 🥺
Auntie C to Meowmy: She blinked at me, like very 可怜 (pitiful)

Meowmy laughed and explained that I had to go in last month for a water cyst issue and the vet poked me to get the liquid out. She quickly asked Auntie C to prep me that I need to go back in one month’s time for general checks and blood works, which meant more poking.

Auntie C: The wet food is only for special occasions, like once a year. You see you ate the wet food, then Mama had to bring you to the vet. You drink more water in this one month. If results are good, then you don’t need to go back ok?
Me: *Blinks* 🥺
