Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter – OSCAS

Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter – OSCAS A non-profit dog shelter devoted to caring for rescued Singapore Specials and abandoned dogs. Stray rescue in Singapore is a long tiring journey.

Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter (OSCAS) is a registered charity and non-profit dog shelter that has been in existence since 2006. Over the years, the shelter has rescued mainly stray or abandoned dogs from the streets or from being culled. About a hundred Singapore Specials currently call this shelter home and needless to say, it can only be sustained with help from trusty volunteers and kind donations or sponsorships. Join us to be their voice.

Rain or shine, the zoomies must go on! 🌧️🐾☀️

Ajax and Cola turn the grass run at the shelter into their own racetrack — chasing, playing, and seizing the moment.

These two prove that dogs just wanna have fun no matter the weather. They are both still looking for their forever home where they can enjoy this every weekend! Even better on a daily basis.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible volunteer shelter moms 💐🐾

Today we celebrate the women who give so much of themselves to the dogs in our care — the ones who show up day after day (year after year) with patience, compassion, and unconditional love.

From walking, bathing, transporting, medicating, fostering, and rehabilitating, to comforting frightened souls and celebrating every small victory… you do it all with one shared hope — that each dog will one day find the loving home they deserve.

Most importantly, you make sure every dog knows they are loved. ❤️

Without our shelter moms, so many tails would stop wagging, so many hearts would never heal, and our shelter simply would not be the same. Thank you for being their advocates, their comfort, their family, and their second chance.

To every volunteer who mothers shelter dogs as if they were their own — we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today.

*We have a Madamemoiselle Paris too 😉

You can read more about them on their individual profiles in our Adoption Gallery on the website.

The remaining dogs will be added to the gallery as soon as we have photos and all of their details ready, so keep checking back for updates.

If you are thinking about adopting, please make sure you read through our adoption procedures on the website before applying. It’s important that we find the right match for both our dogs and their future families.

Thank you to everyone supporting these dogs as they start their next chapter.

Meet Kiko 🐾

Kiko is the last little pup from his litter still waiting for his forever home. While all his brothers and sisters have found their families, sweet Kiko is still hoping his perfect match is out there.

He’s the shy one of the bunch, but every day he’s growing more confident and curious about the world. Kiko has started walking on a leash and is learning that new experiences can be exciting, not scary.

With a gentle heart and a quiet nature, Kiko would thrive in a loving home that has the time to dedicate to raising a puppy, can give him patience, kindness, and a little extra encouragement as he continues to blossom.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will grow with you and reward your love tenfold, Kiko might just be your perfect match.

Please share to help Kiko find the home he’s been waiting for.

Read more on his profile on the website adoption gallery. Or email us at [email protected]

Note: Kiko is not HDB-approved

New week, new energy, same unstoppable spirit!
Let’s start the week like little Twinkle: free, fast, and full of joy (enjoying some off leash zoom time in the shelter grass runs).

She’s still looking for a home to call her own to have fun and grow in confidence.
Could that be with you?

Meet Snow White — a little furry princess in search of her forever kingdom.

True to her name, Snow White is the fairest of them all and with her sassy, expressive personality, she’ll have you smiling in no time — whether she’s dancing with joy or sitting sweetly with her dainty paws crossed like the royal she is.

If you have the patience to build a bond with her, you’ll be rewarded with endless affection. She adores being close to those people she has built trust with and will happily soak up all the love once she feels safe with you.

Just like in her story, kindness goes a long way — and with patience, understanding and a gentle heart, you’ll discover just how special this sweet furry princess truly is.

If you could be Snow White’s happily ever after, read more about her on our website Adoption Gallery, click her profile to express your interest or email us at [email protected]

Milan has been in foster care with one of our volunteers for a week now. She’s currently recovering from a medical issue affecting her gum and jaw, which means she’s being tube-fed while she heals.

Despite this, she has shown such resilience and has settled in easily to home life, sofa life, play time and toilet training! She is learning from and enjoying the company of two senior dogs and a human foster sister. Her favorite toy is a giant squishmallow which she plays and cuddles with.

While Milan still has some healing to do before she’s ready for adoption, her sister Paris is still waiting at the shelter for a home too.

Both girls are shy and a little skittish on walks right now, but in foster care Milan has already found confidence on quieter routes away from the busy shelter environment. Like so many of our dogs, once they’re in the right home, their personalities begin to shine—and we’re already seeing that with Milan, who now does an excited wiggle whenever her harness comes out!

These sweet sisters will need time, patience, and understanding—but the reward of earning their trust and watching them blossom is heartwarming.

If you think you could be the right home, please visit our adoption gallery on the website, read through our adoption procedures, and either submit your interest via their profiles or email us at [email protected]
