A senior cat crochets a tiny mouse, putting so much love into every stitch that she brings the tiny mouse to life. They live happily together, crocheting daily, giving joy to many with their lovely crochet toys. — By social enterprise TeddyThotz 🐁❤️🐈

Sigh! Another community cat needs costly treatment. Datou has severe tooth decay. Today’s treatment at the vet only provides temporary relief for 2 weeks. For a permanent cure, she’ll need to undergo full dental procedure and hospitalisation until she’s well enough to return to the outdoor. 😢🐈

JON JON’S ORDEAL:
We only discovered Jon Jon’s dental problem when he stopped eating n only drank milk. We therefore took him to the vet where the extent of his dental problem was identified — gum infection and loose teeth which needed to be extracted. He must have been in great pain. Jon Jon was first treated for his gum infection n given painkiller after which he started eating again; he was so hungry. Next, blood test was done to ascertain he was fit for the dental procedure. On 13 August, the procedure was carried out while his feeder waited anxiously at the clinic. Everything went well, thankfully. A total of 6 teeth were extracted! Thereafter, we kept him at the vet so that he wouldn’t miss his medication and could recover properly without complication even though boarding cost was high at $50+ per day. After a total of 20 days’ stay at the vet, Jon Jon was discharged. He returned to the community, looking happy and no longer in pain.

For those stray cats with severe dental problem who couldn’t eat because of the pain and didn’t have anyone to bring them for treatment, we can’t imagine how much sufferings they have to endure.🐈
