Bobby is moving around more and starting to interact with his new siblings.
Last Jan when his wound occurred and we were asked to take him, we were also told that his brother who was also FIV+ had passed away and he seem depressed.
We believe Bobby is a cat who loves companionship.
When he first arrived, we gave him a room of his own because of concerns of Mycobacteria. There are a few tests for mycobacteria but they may not be conclusive. So far, two of the test has come back negative. We are still waiting for the result of the 3rd test that takes 12 weeks to come.
One of the test showed his wound had Acinetobacter variablis, an opportunistic bacteria. Our vet has removed the infected tissues, clean out the infected area and stitched it up.
Based on all the treatments, the chance of mycobacteria is low.
Considering that he is a cat who loves companionship, we feel it is in his interest to let him meet his new siblings.

These days, Jasper loves it when his papa hugs him. He would look for his papa and start purring. And when he is very happy, he will give his papa's arm a nibble.

He is such a sweet boy and it is really nice to see him so happy.
Like we always say a well cared for FIV+ cat easily outlived a neglected FIV- cat.
All cats deserves to be loved, pampered and cherished.

Jasper now loves to sleep on the bed. When he sees his papa he will look like this. its his way of saying hes waiting for a hug. if his papa hug him he will start to pur. and if hes really happy, he will start to nibble o his papa's arm. and pur while doing it.
Very cute, sweet and happy boy.
He is FIV+ but as long as he does not fight (which he does not and never had), he can live with non FIV+ cats.

Its almost 2 months since little Macron came to us.
He is a rescued FIV+ boy. Been very shy and hiding.
Our cats have been very nice and caring towards him. He loves to mingle with his siblings and eat with them.
Now when he wants to eat, he will scream at the top of his voice.
His face is a little boy and super pampered face. When he does that his siblings will look at him so affectionately.

When they arrive and start to behave silly its a good sign they are no longer fearful or stressed. He even allows us to give him a head rub and will give us that little pampered face.

All these made possible by all elder siblings who are so loving and caring. Very proud of them all.

Hi everyone, we just got a new case.
Last Jan, a contact told us of a FIV+ cat with a wound and asked if we can take in the cat. We agreed but the feeder objected. The cat was released back to the street.

Recently. our contact inform us the cat has the same wound on the same spot.
We asked our friend to trap and send to the vet.

The cat has been treated for infection but there is a chance it might be a recurring wound or an autoimmune disease. His blood sugar is also on the high side not yet diabetic but need to retest.

The wounds have appeared twice and if he goes back to the street, he may not be lucky the third time. With the above circumstances, we will take in the cat, care for him and send for review.

This afternoon, Ronald passed away.
We took him in to care for him.
If we can stablise his condtion then we shower him with love.
If no, then we want him to feel love and to let him know hes got a home.
We were told he is noisy but he stop when we hug him. Then he discovered the bed and was thrilled. He loved it.
And it made him even happlier when we hug him while he sleeps.
His time with us was short. We showered him with love.

Macron is a very cute 3yo boy. When rescued, he was found to be FIV+so he came to us. He was very shy and hiding away.
Bean Bean understood how he felt and she became the loving big sister to Macron . They would eat and rest together. Thanks to her, Macaron is becoming more comfortable and confident. We look forward to hugging him! Very proud of Macron and Bean Bean.

When new cats arrived, they noticed their sibling's birthday celebrations.
Then one day, they realised they have their own birthday celebration too! and often, it is their first ever!

Ernest is a FIV+ com cat in an industrial area. The feeder rescued several of the cats and asked us to take in Ernest as he is FIV+ and senior.

He is a very intelligent and friendly cat. He settled down very well and gets along very well wiht his new siblings.
So today, everyone is very happy to celebrate his 11th birthday.

Please welcome Ronald!
He is a 12yo com cat who is FIV+ with kidney failure.
It is not good for him to remain on the street so he is here with us.
We tell him t take his time to settle down. And if he observe, he will see many very cute cats who are his new siblings. And he will discover they are all as cute as him!

Today is a very special day for Jasper.
We celebrated his birthday and it is his very first birthday with us.

He came to use last Oct becuse feeder found him in very bad condtion.
He is FIV+ but more worrying was him showing asthma like attacks.
We have stand by asthma medication but luckily, it never flare up after he arrived!
We hope it never will!
