~For first-time customers only~
- To request a booking please complete the Application for Boarding Form. We will respond to you within 2 working days to confirm availability and costs.
- For urgent bookings, please pm us. We will respond to you within 24 hours.
- You will then need to pay the 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
- Your booking is confirmed once deposit has been made. A confirmation email/text will be sent.
- Full payment is due at check-in time.
You can opt to pay a fully-refundable* deposit of $30 after your first visit and there is no need for any deposits for your next visits. (Recommended for recurring/ long-term stay)
Terms and Conditions*
1) Vaccination Status and Health
- All pets must have up to date vaccinations.
- The Vaccination Certificate shall not be more than 12 months old from the date of boarding.
- It is up to our discretion to cancel any booking on site.
- For sanitation purposes,all pets will have to be de-tick/flea upon entering the boarding home. (Chargeable at $15)
2) Bookings
- To request a booking please pm us with your unique ID.
- You will then need to pay the 50% non-refundable deposit after we note down your booking.
- Your booking is confirmed once deposit has been made. A confirmation email/text will be sent.
- Full payment is due at check-out time.
3) Payment
- Pet owners shall deposit a minimum of 50% of the charges to Gigi's Boarding House upon confirmation of the booking.
- Gigi's Boarding House reserves the right to collect up to 100% of the charges at the time the pet is checked in.
- Gigi's Boarding House also reserves the right to collect a further sum of money to cover any expenses or charges which may be incurred in case of an emergency.
- If the agreement is to board a pet for 7 days and the owner decides to collect the pet after 2 days, Gigi's Boarding House will not refund the deposit regardless of whether full payment has been made or not.
- If the agreement is to board a pet for 7 days and the owner decides to collect the pet after 6 days, Gigi's Boarding House will charge the owner up to the 6th day if full payment has not been made.
4) Accommodation
- Rates include food. (Default: Vegetarian/Low protein diet)
- For pets with special diet, please provide us with the food.
- Any food apart from the default food, will be chargeable at an extra $5* per session.
- Dogs will be sleeping in the same room as us.
- Free roam around the apartment.
5) Check-in and Check-out Timings
- Our business hours are 9 am – 9 pm Monday to Sunday.
~Daycare~
- Check-in timings for all daycare packages are anytime from 9 am to 5 pm.
- With the exception of 'Fluffy's Preferred Package | Daycare' where check-in timing is anytime from 8 am to 8 pm.
~Pet Boarding~
- Check-in timings for all pet boarding packages are anytime from 9 am to 9 pm.
6) Gigi's Boarding House's Obligation
- Feed the pets at regular intervals;
- Provide a reasonably safe environment for the pet. Subject to pet owner’s warranty that the pet does not and will not pose a danger or risk (whether physical or by way of transmission of disease or parasites) to other pets at Gigi's Boarding House.
- Maintain the pet in good health as far as reasonably possible and to the best of our abilities subject to pet owner’s fulfillment of the mandatory conditions as stated above.
7) Emergency
- If the pet should for any reason whatsoever become ill or injured, (“the Affected Pet”) during the pet’s stay at Gigi's Boarding House, we shall be entitled at its absolute discretion to do any one or more of the following:
> Contact the pet owner to collect the pet if the pet owner is contactable;
> Contact the emergency contact person if the pet owner is not contactable;
> Contact the pet’s veterinarian or pet clinic if the pet owner and the emergency contact person are not contactable;
> Provide such medical attention or care which we deem is necessary or appropriate at any animal hospital or pet clinic chosen by us;
> Keep or maintain the affected pet by engaging a veterinarian until collection by the pet owner;
> Pet owner acknowledges accepts agrees and understands that there is a risk that the pet can become ill or injured during its stay at Gigi's Boarding House;
> Pet owner waives all rights and claims against Gigi's Boarding House and further agrees not to hold or make Gigi's Boarding House liable for any injury or illness or death to the affected Pet.
> Pet owner also waives all rights and claims against Gigi's Boarding House and further agrees not to hold or make Gigi's Boarding House liable for any step or action or thing or decision made or taken by Gigi's Boarding House concerning the Affected Pet.
> Pet owner agrees to provide Gigi's Boarding House with the following information at the time pet owner checks-in the pet at Gigi's Boarding House:
- Pet owner’s contact details;
- The name and telephone number of the emergency contact person;
- The name and telephone number of the affected pet’s veterinarian surgeon or pet clinic (“the Pet’s Doctor”);
- If the Emergency Contact Person or the Pet’s Doctor is prepared to collect the affected pet, the pet owner authorises Gigi's Boarding House to release the affected pet to the emergency contact person or the pet’s doctor as the case may be who shall then assume full responsibility for the affected pet’s condition and consequences. For the avoidance of doubt such responsibility includes financial responsibility for the affected pet’s care and attention.
- If Gigi's Boarding House should maintain the affected pet, Gigi's Boarding House shall utilise any deposit or such part of it to settle all its charges and expenses to maintain the affected pet.
- If the deposit is insufficient to cover the affected pet’s care and attention, Gigi's Boarding House shall be entitled to bill the pet owner all costs and charges less the deposit utilised and pet owner shall pay the excess charges when collecting the pet.
7) Pick-up
- Pick-ups are currently unavailable unless the pet is within the vicinity of the boarding house. Pick-ups are chargeable at an additional $5-10 per trip.
