Some dogs just leave a little extra paw print on your heart 🐾💛

This boy has been with me since he was just a tiny pup, and watching him grow has been one of the best parts of my journey as a dog boarder. Over the months, we’ve built a relationship full of trust, tail wags, and a whole lot of fun.

He lights up when he sees me and Lottie — his excitement is contagious (and the full-body wiggles at drop-off never fail to make me smile!). It’s amazing to see how happy and confident he’s become, and how beautifully he socialises with other dogs. He’s playful, gentle, and absolutely adored.

Getting to know dogs like him through the first year of my business has been such a privilege. These bonds are the heart of what I do — and I’m so grateful for every one of them.

Where they’ve been… who they’ve loved… what they miss.
Every dog has a past—even if it wasn’t terrible, it was theirs.
And now, they’re here. Safe. Loved. Figuring things out, just like we are.
Dogs don’t ask for much… just kindness, patience, and a place to belong.
And they give us so much in return.

This is my girl — calm, kind, and the sweetest soul I ever meet. She’s not just our family dog — she’s the quiet, comforting presence that helps set the tone for every pup that stays with us. 💖

She’s also my dream dog — the one I wished for since I was a kid. Gentle, loyal, endlessly patient… She’s the love of my life in a furry coat. There’s something about the way she looks at you with those soft eyes that just makes everything feel okay. I truly believe she was meant to be in my life — and now she helps me bring comfort and calm to the dogs we care for together.

As a Golden Retriever, she embodies everything the breed is known for: friendly, intuitive, affectionate, and incredibly grounded.
