Ioana is an inspirational young woman. Together with partner Bogdan they are EVERY LIFE COUNTS RESCUE.
Based in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania, countless animals owe their happy lives to them. In addition to their regular food distribution - the strays come running for food and attention when they spot their van – Ioana and Bogdan help the most vulnerable street animals. The young and old, the sick and abused, the victims of car accidents and deliberate hit and runs – the list goes on........ They also take as many innocent souls as they can from the public shelter and regularly feed the ones they are forced to leave behind.
They have hundreds of animals in their rescue and work tirelessly to care for them, until every week a lucky few travel to wonderful forever homes abroad. They even have a few rescued sheep and donkeys residing at their shelter.
Despite all of this non-stop work, Ioana and Bogdan spent time last year at the Romania/Ukraine border providing invaluable help to desperate people and their pets. They said “We feel as people that we have to do this. We have to help those who are escaping a war zone and only have strangers to give them a helping hand”
Ioana and Bogdan so deserve our support. If only we could take the worry of money off their list 😔

😭😭😭😭😭 A local called us asking for desperate help for a dog that was poisoned 😭 😢 😢
We rushed out to get the poor baby and take him to the vet straight away where he was admitted on the spot to find out what his condition is. The poor dog is in shock, he is barely able to breathe 😭😭😭
At the vets he is being intubated and is undergoing tests.
We asked the vet to call us with the results no matter the time. He is being given the first aid
and we hope with all our heart that it will hel him because he is on a knife edge. We want him to survive so so badly…😭😭😭

…😢😢😢😢 Anymore help for Food? 😢😢😢😢
Food is a daily necessity at the rescue…😭😭😭😭

…..We don’t have any food left for our dogs 😞😞
With 150 dogs to feed every single day, food supplies vanish 😭😭😭😭😭
Food suppliers don’t sell food on debt so unless we have the funds to pay we can’t order food 😞😞😞
Our shelter is full to the brim 😪😪😪

Tomorrow we will need to buy food from the supermarket which is even more expensive 😭😭😭😭 And we will need to buy every single day until we will be able to pay for a food delivery…😞😞
A bag of dog food is 12€..

… Late night rescue…
We have been alerted about a poor stray pup that has been dumped just a few moments ago, a local lady called us telling us how a poor pup has been dumped by somebody, crying, confused…😭😭😭
No matter it’s day or night, there is always a poor new soul in need needing urgent help…😭😭

For the rescue it’s never ending…😭😭😭😭
We are so overwhelmed by everything lately but this poor dog needs help so so badly…😭😭😭

… Here is the poor dog that we rescued last night after she was involved in a accident between a lorry and a car while she was crossing a street !!😭😭
She was lying in this water ditch, soaked, ever since 😢😢😢
We now have this poor scared girl at the veterinary clinic, vets think her hips and her pelvis were affected, however X~rays will be taken tomorrow to see what exactly the problem is and what kind of surgical intervention this poor girl will need 😢😢😢
