Nero one year old. My beautiful boy!

10/10/2026

Sometimes, a dog comes into your life exactly when you need him. Even when you’re not ready. That’s how you found us, Nero. ❤️

Today you turn one. There’s still plenty of growing and learning ahead, but we already see the wonderful dog you’re becoming. For now, you’re convinced that all 35 kilos of you fit perfectly in our arms and that every happy moment deserves a jump.

You brought playfulness and companionship back into another dog’s world after a heartbreaking loss. You’re a devoted friend to our little girl, though you’re still learning that love can be shown with all four paws on the ground.

And with the dad of the family, a little patience goes a long way. Dads of daughters need time to approve a new boy. 😂 Sometimes, opening your heart again takes a while, but you keep finding your way in—one garden hole and one stolen pair of barbecue gloves at a time. Maybe fewer gloves would help.

You’re exactly what I needed in this chapter of my life. We’re learning together, sometimes patiently, sometimes with a loud “Nero, NO… YOU LITTLE RASCAL!” And every day, you show us just how special you are.

Happy first birthday, our dear boy. Here’s to many years of adventures, mischief and a place beside us. Even if you’d still rather be on top of us. 🐾❤️

7 years of Kali. ❤️
Happy birthday girl !!

7 years of Kali. ❤️

I don't know where the years went, but I know how much better they have been with her by our side.

Kali is the kind of soul you can always count on. Loyal, gentle, balanced, with a kindness that needs no words.

And now she has Nero by her side. She plays with him, puts up with his crazy energy, corrects him when needed and, without even knowing it, teaches him what it means to grow into a good dog.

Watching them together makes me realize just how lucky we are to have her.

You're not just our dog, Kali. You're our friend, our family, and one of the best souls I've ever known. ❤️

Happy 7th birthday, beautiful girl! 🐾❤️
Stay exactly who you are for many, many more years.

Thank you, UCHR , for a beautifully organized show, for the great atmosphere, and for the experience we had throughout these two days. We are leaving Rasnov not only with results we are extremely proud of, but also with valuable feedback for the journey ahead. 🖤🐾

A special thank you to the judges for their fair, attentive and professional judging, and especially for the observations, advice and guidance they shared with us. We truly appreciate it and will definitely put it into practice, both to improve Nero’s preparation and presentation in the ring, and to bring out his qualities as a German Shepherd even better.

For Nero, every show means experience, progress and another important step in his development.

We look forward to seeing you again soon in the ring, with a more mature, better prepared Nero, while keeping the same character and attitude that define him. 🖤
