Association One Rescue Association One Rescue is a warm and caring private animal rescue shelter at Cosoba, Giurgiu, Romania Our story starts in 2014.

Association One Rescue’s founder is Adina Vladut, veterinarian who also owns the Onevet clinic together with her husband. Dr. Adina Vladut has a long career as a veterinarian, and almost as long she has been helping homeless dogs and cats in Romania. The big step was taken forward in her rescue work in 2014. From the need to be able to help and shelter abandoned animals, she decided to rent an old

and dilapidated farm and plot in the village of Cosoba at Giurgiu county. Cosoba is located relatively near Bucharest. The location is good and peaceful, it's at the edge of the village and middle of countryside Romania. This was the final selection criterion for Dr. Adina when she visited the farm for the first time. Shelter is built in a yard of 1.5 hectares. Dr. Adina started diligently building kennels and paddocks for the dogs on the farm so that she could help them more. Shelter is improving year by year up to this date and we have a plan to do so in upcoming years as well. Association One Rescue was created in the 3rd year of the shelter in 2017, to be able to support the operations and make the shelter official. Currently, the shelter is a safe haven for our 500 dogs and cats. Our vision is to have a better future for the animals in the shelter and also in the area around us. We hope to achieve less abandonment by keeping ongoing spay and neuter days month after month at the clinic space that is part of the shelter.

Meet Joana 🐾

This fluffy little bundle of sweetness is around 4-5 months old and arrived at our shelter 3 weeks ago. Weighing about 7 kg right now, she is expected to grow into a medium-sized adult dog.

Joana is your classic, adorable puppy: full of life, super playful, and endlessly affectionate. Whether she’s bouncing around playing or curling up for cuddles, her sweet personality and soft fur will steal your heart in a second.

* Size: Medium as adult (currently ~7 kg)

Această ghemotoc pufos și dulce are în jur de 4-5 luni și a ajuns la noi în urmă cu 3 săptămâni. Are aproximativ 7 kg în prezent și va deveni un cățel de talie medie la maturitate.

Joana este cățelușul ideal: veselă, extrem de jucăușă și foarte iubitoare. Fie că se joacă entuziasmată sau se alintă, personalitatea ei dulce și blănița moale te vor cuceri pe loc.

* Personalitate: Jucăușă, dulce, afectuoasă și super pufosă!

Astăzi am intervenit alături de Asociatia Ramses într-un caz din Sectorul 6, unde am găsit 9 pisici care aveau nevoie de ajutor.

Doamna care le îngrijea ajunsese într-o situație pe care nu o mai putea gestiona singură, motiv pentru care ne-a cerut ajutorul.Am reușit să preluăm 4 dintre pisici, iar pentru celelalte vom reveni cât de curând, deoarece, din păcate, în timpul intervenției acestea s-au speriat foarte tare și s-au ascuns iar pentru a le limita stresul, am decis să nu le forțăm să iasă.

Cele 4 suflete sunt acum în siguranță, dar urmează investigații, tratamente și sterilizare. Avem nevoie de ajutorul vostru pentru a le putea acoperi toate aceste costuri și pentru a le oferi șansa la o viață mai bună. ❤️

Situația aceasta ne arată și cât de important este să nu adunăm animale mai multe decât putem întreține. Știm că intenția pornește din iubire, dar atunci când nu mai putem oferi hrană, îngrijire medicală, sterilizare și condiții decente, ajungem, fără să vrem, să le facem mai mult rău decât bine. A iubi animalele înseamnă și să avem grijă să nu ajungă să sufere din cauza noastră.
🙏 Orice donație, oricât de mică, ne ajută să avem grijă de cele 4 pisicuțe preluate astăzi. Iar dacă nu puteți dona, o distribuire poate ajunge la cineva care poate.
Mulțumim din suflet Asociației Ramses că ne-au fost alături în această intervenție și tuturor celor care ne sunt alături atunci când un suflet are nevoie de noi. ❤️🐾

Today, together with Asociatia Ramses we stepped in to help 9 cats.

Their caregiver was completely overwhelmed and reached out for help.We managed to take in 4 of the cats safely today and we will return soon to rescue the other ones, because they got very scared and hid so we chose not to force them out, to avoid extra stress.
These 4 sweet souls are safe now but they still have a long road ahead with checkups, treatments, neutering/spaying, dewormings, etc. We truly need your help to cover some of these costs and give them the happy life they deserve!❤️
This case is a gentle reminder of how crucial it is not to take in more animals than we can properly care for!

Meet Alpin🐾

You know that sweet old grandpa who sits comfortably in his arm chair, watching everyone pass by, quietly judging, and just minding his own business? That’s Alpin in a nutshell! 🐶

At 10 years young (around 53 cm and 25 kg), Alpin is an independent, easy-going senior who brings a unique, calm charm everywhere he goes.

* Personality: Quiet, brave, and laid-back. He loves to just sit back and observe the world.
* Social Life: Gets along with other dogs, though he mostly prefers doing his own thing.
* Cuddles: He’s an independent soul! Affection is entirely on his terms—when you catch him in the right mood, he’ll come over for sweet pets, and he might even surprise you with a playful mood!

La cei 10 ani ai săi (aprox. 53 cm și 25 kg), Alpin este un senior independent, înțelept și extrem de ușor de iubit. Nu este genul de cățel insistent; el preferă să-și vadă de treaba lui, să observe lumea cu atenție și să fie stăpân pe spațiul său.

* Personalitate: Tăcut, curajos și relaxat.
* Socializare: În general își vede de drum, dar se înțelege bine și cu alți căței.
* Alinturi: Vine după mângâieri doar când are el chef — iar când prinzi un moment bun, este absolut fermecător! Uneori are și momente surprinzătoare de joacă.

Alpin nu îți va cere atenție 24/7, ci îți va oferi acea prezență liniștitoare a unui prieten loial care pur și simplu se bucură să fie în același spațiu cu tine. Are nevoie de un cămin liniștit unde să-și petreacă anii de seniorat în siguranță.

On the 5th of September we will be attending an adoption fair with some of our wonderful cats who are looking for loving forever homes. ❤️ They will be surrounded by the sweetest dogs from our partners ASPA Bucuresti . ❤️🐶

All of our cats are adoption-ready: dewormed, vaccinated, and ready to start a new chapter with their future families.

Come meet them, learn their stories, and maybe find your new best friend!

Some lives end before they even fully get to begin. 💔 This was the case for little Björn as well.

It is already devastating enough to face of reality that so many people cold hearthedly abandon these poor souls, often in weak condition and neglected. Around 2,5 weeks ago Björn arrived with her sisters Yasmin and Vanessa, they had been neglected and probably suffering of parvo virus. Unfortunately Björn lost this fight against this virus despite of our efforts. 💔

Spay and neuter is the key, to prevent unfair and cruel cases like Björn's.

Rest in peace little one. ❤️‍🩹

Meet Yoga🐕

He is a boy of 5,5 months. He's been with us since his first days in this world. He shouldn't have to grow up in a shelter, but in a loving family❤️.

Temper: 🐶friendly and sociable, very brave, so once you own his trust, he will protect you no matter what

Size: ✨For now, he's 15 kilograms, but when he grows up he will be a beautiful ~25 kilograms dog.

He is honestly such a happy and gentle soul; we don't understand why is he so overlooked by everyone 🥺. If you feel that you can be the change in his life, send us a message 💌

Este un băiețel de 5 luni și jumătate. Este la noi încă din primele lui zile pe pământ. Nu merită să trăiască în adăpost, ci în sânul unei familii iubitoare❤️.

Comportament: 🐶 prietenos și sociabil, foarte curajos, deci odată ce i-ai câștigat încrederea, te va proteja indiferent de situație

Talie: ✨Acum, Yoga are 15 kilograme, dar cand va crește, va ajunge până la ~25 de kilograme

2 căței și 4 pisicuțe norocoase și-au găsit căsuțe săptămâna aceasta! 🐾❤️

Perfume și 4 pisicuțe (3 puiuți și dragul nostru Jaune) au fost adoptați local, iar micuța cățelușă Mona a plecat spre familia ei pentru totdeauna în Germania prin Hearts4Paws e.V. .

Ne bucurăm enorm pentru fiecare dintre ei! ❤️
