Today is to remember our dear companions that are no longer here 🕯️
I remeber the ones that left after years spent by my side, those that had only me untill they left for the rainbow, those I tried to save but the fate decided different & those gone that I get to share their memory with a furever family because once they were in my care are forever my babies...
And the heavy rain outside seems just fitting 🍂
Daisy, Melissa, Colby, Lisa, Oreo, all my little kittens and my feral babies, you're never forgotten 🥹

I was too tired after the sleepless night to post, so with a day delay, please meet the newest rescue 🫠
I could hear him screaming in the rainy air from across the road and spent almost an hour to find & convince him to come out from the metal box he sheltered in.
Has an URI, parasites, a piece of ear missing and something wrong with the tail too (for wich he'll see the vet soon)
Allready started treatment for everything with more to come after the vet ... and nothing is free.
It's a fluffy boy of about 2.5 months and allready figured I'm here to help and showed me he is so sweet 🥺
With him, I'm now at 53 cats in care and he took up the 'emergency spot' crate 😮‍💨 we really need adoptions & shares

Before having any opinion on an adoption tax, please call the vets in your area and get an estimate for what the rescue is providing 🙂 I bet you'll get some perspective

The adoption fee is one of the best deals around, and most people only find that out from the vet bills they never got. 🧡

A typical shelter cat arrives already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested and treated for fleas and worms. Bought separately at a private vet, that list often comes to several hundred dollars, against a fee that usually sits between fifty and a hundred and fifty. What is left over helps the next cat through the same door.
