This wasn't on my bingo card for today, but here we are 🫠
Say hi to the newest sweet girl that I just rescued from a bunch of toms twice her size that gatheted from across the neighbourhood chasing and harassing her🥲 She's no older than 8 months, a mere kitten, and in heat. Not even the rain stopped them, nor her attempt to escape to a tree.
She has something going on, maybe just a respiratory infection, started on some treatment. Will need some more veterinary care and of course tests and spay asap.
Just one more reason matters, nature is brutal.

I am a little late, but it's Awarness Day- 💜

Did you know animals can also have it? Many people are surprised, but if you think, we are the same! Same organs, same things go wrong 🙂
It can develop at any point in life from a plethora of causes.
It is hard to diagnose as the only way is to rule out everything else causing the seisures.

I met Epilepsy twice in my life.
First, with my childhood cat Daisy, who had it since birth. I got to learn from her for 11.5years untill a cancer forced us to let her go 🌈
Second, with my foster Billy. I lost him at his 2nd seisure at only 6 months💔
They both taught me a special kind of love, resiliance and a beautiful innocence in their oblivion to their condition and mortality, enjoying each day as it came.
Having a pet with epilepsy is both beautiful & heartbreaking, but they deserve all the love. Rest easy my dears💕

Sometimes it hits me that I’m holding a stranger’s best friend in the palm of my hand. The cat who will go through life with them, who will know a million nicknames, who will comfort them in times of grief and make them smile for hopefully two decades. What a gift it is to care for them in their infancy—to be the reason that this kitten can become a beloved cat. To be the one who knew them first. 🖤

Last week we did some , I gathered all the leftover funds to pay for these 3 lucky gals.
One is an oldie that I finally outsmarted, finally done with pouring kittens three times every year and finally pain-free as she had some rotten teeth also pulled.
The other two are youngsters that will now never have to struggle with kittens.
Each of them has a caring guardian that asked for help and were delighted with their safe return trouble-free. 3 cats, 3 happy old ladies 💕
