No dia 19 de Outubro de 2018 foi nomeado uma nova direcção para a Associação de Concurso Completo de Equitação (ACCE).
A nova direcção foi votada por unanimidade na última Assembleia Geral da ACCE onde aproveitou também para apresentar a sua visão, o plano de três anos para a nova versão da ACCE e como pretende revigorar o desporto. O plano inclui aumentar o número de provas realizadas em Portugal, um programa de treino completo para a Equipe Nacional e membros da ACCE e uma campanha de marketing e comunicação que ajudará a promover o desporto.
A nova direcção é composta por cinco membros e é apoiada por um assessor especial.
Jodie Lazell nasceu no Reino Unido, mas cresceu na Holanda e mudou-se para Portugal em 2011. Trabalha actualmente em comunicação para uma organização internacional, no entanto já teve uma carreira em direito. M***a a cavalo desde pequena, mas só começou a fazer CCE há três anos. Jodie junta-se à direcção da ACCE como vogal e será responsável pelo desenvolvimento da campanha de comunicação e marketing da ACCE.
João Duarte Silva não é um estranho no CCE a nível nacional e internacional. Começou a m***ar aos 4 anos. Vindo de uma família com grande passado de cavaleiros, disputou o seu primeiro Campeonato Europeu em 2001, representando Portugal e desde então competiu em várias competições internacionais, incluindo Badminton em 2016. Detém também vários títulos do Campeonato Nacional Português. É instrutor de equitação qualificado com reconhecimento internacional e leciona na Escola de Alter do Chão. João será um assessor especial do Conselho da ACCE e apoiará Francisco no Planeamento e na Coordenação de Eventos.
Augusto Calça e Pina, tem 25 anos, estudante de medicina veterinária, natural de Sousel. É Cavaleiro desde os 10 anos de idade, desde os 11 que faz CCE e conta com diversas representações em concursos internacionais e 5 campeonatos da Europa. Integra a direcção da ACCE como presidente e é responsável pela coordenação dos treinos e formação dos cavaleiros de CCE.
Francisco Stilwell m***a a cavalo desde pequeno e a sua família é criadora de cavalos e tem uma grande relação com o desporto equestre.Começou a competir com apenas 9 anos de idade em saltos de obstáculos e mais tarde com 13 anos começou o seu percurso pelo CCE onde ainda se mantém. Já participou em 8 Campeonatos da Europa e venceu várias medalhas em Campeonatos Nacionais. Nasceu em Portugal e entra na direção da ACCE como vice-presidente.
A Maria do Carmo está envolvida no completo desde muito cedo como cavaleira e agora como organizadora dos internacionais da Barroca. Envolvida na parte técnica do completo na posição de delegada técnica nacional e actualmente a finalizar o curso de engenharia agronómica.
Ricardo Guerreiro, natural de Lisboa, Instrutor de equitação pela Federação Equestre Portuguesa leciona na Escola Profissional de Marco de Canaveses. Cavaleiro de CCE desde os 15 anos com várias representações internacionais e classificações em campeonatos nacionais. Actualmente continua a competir, é Juiz Nacional de CCE, treinador da disciplina e o actual campeão nacional. Membro da ACCE como vogal e responsável pela coordenação de seleções e estágios.

On 19 October 2018 the Portuguese Eventing Association (the Associacao Portuguesa de Concurso Completo de Equitacao or the ACCE) appointed a new board.
The board was voted in unanimously by the General Assembly of the ACCE and took the opportunity to present their vision and three-year plan for a new version of the ACCE and how they intend to reinvigorate the sport. The plan includes improving the number of events run in Portugal, a full training programme for the National Team and the ACCE members, and a marketing and communications campaign that will help raise the much needed funds to support the sport.
The ACCE Board is made up of five members and is supported by one special advisor:
Augusto Calça e Pina is currently in his final year of Veterinary school. He started riding when he was 10 and has been eventing since he was 11. Augusto is well-known in Portuguese eventing and has competed for Portugal at international competitions and completed five European championships as a junior and young rider. He joins the ACCE’s board as the President and will be responsible for managing the Training and Education programme together with Ricardo Guerreiro.
Francisco (Kiko) Stilwell has been riding all his life and is another well-known character in Portuguese and international eventing. His family breeds horses and are all involved in the sport. Kiko started competing at the age of 9 in show jumping and by 13 he began eventing and has remained active in the sport ever since. He has completed eight European Championships at all age levels and has several National Championship titles to his name. Kiko joins the board of the ACCE as a Vice President and will focus on Events Planning and Coordination together with special advisor, Joao Duarte SIlva.
Jodie Lazell was born in the UK but grew up in The Netherlands and moved to Portugal in 2011. She currently works in communications for an international organization but has previously had a career in law. She has been riding for most of her life but only started eventing three years ago. Jodie joins the ACCE’s board as a Director and will be responsible for developing the ACCE’s Communications and Marketing Campaign.
Maria do Carmo Lupi Hart has been involved in eventing for all of her life, first as a rider but more recently she is best known for her involvement in Barroca International Horse Trials where she is part of the team that organizes that event. She is also involved in Portuguese eventing as a national technical delegate. She is currently finishing her degree in agronomic engineering and joins the board as the ACCE’s Secretary and will be responsible for the Management and Administration of the association and will also provide support in developing the communications and marketing campaign with Jodie.
Ricardo Guerreiro is an equestrian sports instructor at the Marco de Canaveses academy. He has been eventing since he was 15 and an active competitor ever since. As an instructor at one of the country’s top equestrian sports academies, he is known for encouraging the next generation of eventing riders to take up the sport. He joins the ACCE’s board as a director and joins Augusto in managing the training and education programme.
Joao Duarte Silva is no stranger to Portuguese and International eventing. He started riding at 4 years old and completed his first pre-novice event at the age of 11. Coming from a strong eventing background, he competed in his first European Championship in 2001, representing Portugal, and has since competed at many international competitions, including at Badminton in 2016. He also holds several Portuguese National Championship titles. He is a qualified riding instructor with international recognition and teaches at the Horse Science School in Alter do Chao. He manages Fronteira Stables, breeding and bringing on top young horses for international sport in both eventing and show jumping. He will be a special advisor to the ACCE Board and support Kiko in Events Planning and Coordination.
