🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED! PLEASE HELP US SAVE THIS GIRL 🐾

This sweet TNR girl nicknamed Pancha wanders around the store area of One Two Seven, going in and out as she tries to navigate the world around her. Although she has a familiar place to return to, she is still exposed to the dangers of the streets every single day…passing cars, other stray dogs, deadly diseases… the risks are endless.

Recently, her brother Pancho, who was also part of a TNR mission, was tragically hit by a car and lost his life. We cannot help but fear that she could suffer the same fate if we don't find a way to get her somewhere safe. We don't want her story to end like Pancho's. She deserves a chance to live a longer, safer life, away from the dangers that surround her. For this to happen we desperately need a committed foster to give her that chance. A safe space, a little patience, and a compassionate heart could make all the difference for this girl.

🐾 Can you foster her? Send us a message.

🆘KIARA NEEDS YOU🆘

For TWO years, a dog lived around the Four Points by Sheraton in Caguas, suffering from tumors in her eye and ge***al area. Many people shared pleas for help, hoping someone would give her a chance. Today, we finally have hope to share for her…meet KIARA 💖

Although we currently have over 70 cases under our care, Kiara was an emergency we could not ignore. Thanks to the many angels who came together for her, Kiara is now safe at our main veterinary clinic, Paseos Veterinary Center where she is finally receiving the medical attention she desperately needs.

A special shout-out to Jota Rescata, who took on the hard work of rescuing Kiara and bringing her to us. It was no easy mission, and we're so grateful for the compassion and determination that made it possible. 🙏

Her medical evaluation is still ongoing, yet Kiara starts chemotherapy tomorrow. 💔

Her vets are treating the tumor in her eye as a suspected transmissible venereal tumor (TVT). She also urgently needs a CT scan ($1,300), and her full oncology costs are still unknown.

Kiara has known enough pain. She deserves relief, real medical care, and a life beyond what she's endured.

Every donation, big or small, goes straight to her CT scan, chemo, and ongoing treatment.

Today is the BIG transport day!

L4S HQ has been busy preparing this incredible crew for their journey, and we are so excited to finally get 27 of our rescued animals on their way to their rescue partners and, ultimately, their forever homes! 🐾✈️💕

We’re reaching out one last time for your help because $4,050 is needed just for their flights — approximately $150 per dog or cat. If you’re able to sponsor a flight, kennel, or even help with ground transportation, we would be incredibly grateful. Whether you can give $10, $25, $50, $150, or whatever is possible for you — it all adds up! 💛

Take a peek at some of our travelers...all rescued in different circumstances! 🥹🐶🐱✈️ Thank you for helping us get them there. Every donation brings us one step closer to seeing these animals safely arrive at their rescue partners and, eventually, in loving forever homes. 🏡🐾💞

The sad reality of rescue… 💔

We always want to highlight the happy ending…the rescues, the recoveries, the adoptions, and the good news. But the reality of rescue is that there are also incredibly difficult and heartbreaking cases. Yesterday was one of those days.

About a month and a half ago, we received a plea for help for a stray cat with open wounds and what appeared to be small tumors around her head. We were willing to help, but this little girl was SO smart and made the rescue mission anything but easy. After weeks of trying, she was finally safely caught using a humane trap. We named her Playita 🐱 We held on to a little hope that whatever was happening to her could be treated. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Our veterinarians at Paseos Veterinary Clinic determined that Playita had a tumor that had spread to different areas of her face, and surgery was not a viable option. Sometimes, the kindest and most humane thing we can do is prevent an animal from enduring prolonged suffering. So yesterday, we had to say goodbye to Playita. 💔

But there is something important we want to remember: Playita did not die alone on the streets. She was seen. She was caught. She received veterinary care. She was given comfort and dignity. And, most importantly, someone cared enough to fight for her. We want to give a huge shout-out to Irmarys, the person who originally made the plea for help and who, day after day, made efforts and sacrifices to get Playita safely to our main veterinary clinic. Thank you for not giving up on her. ❤️

Playita's story is heartbreaking, but it is also a reminder that there are so many other cats, dogs, and animals living on the streets who need someone to notice them. Please don't look away…Help us raise awareness. Get involved. Support TNR, foster, adopt, volunteer, donate when you can, or simply speak up when you see an animal in need. We may not be able to save every life, but together, we can make sure that more animals like Playita are seen, cared for, and treated with dignity.🐾❤️

Happy Sunday, everyone! 🐾

Although our rescue primarily focuses on helping dogs, we ALWAYS have cats & kittens under our care, too.🐱

has an estimated 1 million+ stray and free-roaming cats, yet they are often overlooked because of the misconception that cats are more independent and can simply survive on their own. The reality is much different…and Lluvio’s story is a perfect example.🌧️

He suddenly showed up at an abandoned house. No mom. No siblings. Completely alone. To make matters worse, Puerto Rico has been raining for several days. 🌧️ This tiny, frightened baby was so scared that he wouldn’t leave the area where we suspect he was abandoned. His only shelter was a van. 🚐💔 It took us 3 days to finally gain his trust and get him safely into our care.

Once rescued, we took Lluvio to the vet, where he was diagnosed with an eye infection and intestinal parasites that require several medications.

Thankfully, he has already improved SO much in just one day! 🥹❤️ But Lluvio is just one of the many felines currently depending on us for food, veterinary care, medications, and a safe place to recover.

Do we have any cat lovers out there who would like to help? 😻

Whether you contribute to Lluvio’s veterinary expenses, help care for our other cats, or eventually open your heart and home to one of our felines, every bit of support makes a difference. Even a small donation helps us keep saying YES when another animal needs us.

Happy Friday Community! 🐾

In the rescue world, there are so many expenses that often go unseen. We simply cannot publish every single case or every expense we take on. We are overwhelmed with the number of rescues and animals needing help, and much of our time goes directly into coordinating veterinary care, transportation, fosters, adoptions, supplies, and making sure the dogs in our care are safe and cared for. 🐾

One of those ongoing expenses that is easy to overlook is FOOD. Right now, we have 3 nursing moms who require high-calorie wet food to help keep them strong while caring for their babies. On top of that, their puppies require expensive Royal Canin puppy food to provide them with the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. 🍏

And this is just one part of our ongoing expenses. We are simultaneously dealing with heartworm cases, dogs hit by cars, surgeries, medical emergencies, medications, veterinary bills, and other unexpected situations. ❤️‍🩹

Would you consider making a donation toward food expenses or veterinary care today? 🙏🏻

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps. 🫶🏻

Donna didn’t choose this life for herself — or for her puppies. 🙏🏻

She’s one of two nursing moms who came to Love4Satos this month — both owner surrenders, both unspayed, both now caring for litters they never asked for. 🫶🏻

Right now we have •60+ animals• in our care. Every one of them is a reminder of why spay/neuter isn’t a side project — it’s the work. 💯

In 2026, thanks to donor support, we’ve provided •634 surgeries and counting• for strays, rescuers who can’t afford it alone, and community members just trying to do right by an animal — plus •245 spay/neuter surgeries for our own rescues•. Every surgery is one less litter on the street. ✔️

We still have more to do. If you want to help us get ahead of the next litter before it’s born, reach out — link in bio. 🫂

🐾 Great things happen when communities and rescue organizations work together.

We are proud to continue our partnership with the Municipality of Arroyo through our TNR and animal welfare efforts. Together, we have already helped provide 40 spay/neuter surgeries, preventive care to more than 600 animals, microchips for 160+ dogs, and the transport or rescue coordination of approximately 45 dogs.

We are incredibly grateful for the municipality’s new contribution, which will allow us to continue expanding spay/neuter, veterinary care, rescue efforts and other services for the animals of Arroyo.

Thank you to Mayor Eric Bachier Román, the Municipal Legislature and the Municipality of Arroyo for choosing to be part of the solution. ❤️🐾

Together, we can make a difference.
