The mission of Love4Satos is to save Puerto Rican stray dogs, by rescuing, rehabilitating, and placing them in stable and suitable forever homes.

Love4Satos is a certified 501c3 and 1101.01. These certifications allow our donors to claim their donations to us into their Tax reports. One hundred percent of the donations we receive goes toward the care of the animals we rescue.

🚨 URGENT PLEA FOR HELP 🚨
We need your help to make a life-saving transport possible! 🙏

21 rescued dogs 🐶 and 10 rescued cats 🐱 from Puerto Rico are about to get their second chance at life. After overcoming unimaginable hardships (all were rescued in different circumstances from the streets of Puerto Rico), they are now ready to travel to loving shelter partners and foster homes across the Northeast.

Their journey begins with a flight from Puerto Rico to Miami ✈️. From there, a long van trip 🚐 will take them to their final destinations—safe places where they will find the love and care they deserve.
But this leg of the journey comes with many unseen expenses:
💰One last vet visit for EACH pet for a Health certificate (some routine tests have to be repeated too)
💰Kennels since many have broken due to a lot of use/or in the same transport when handling
💰Airfare from SJU-MIA�💰 Gasoline for the long drive�💰 Employee wages for the transport team�💰 Food and supplies for the animals en route�💰 Health/safety materials/disinfectant wipes and other supplies to keep them comfortable and secure

UPDATE: Sam-dentity Restored! 🐶💛

Remember our sweet chocolate pup Sam and his case of mistaken Sam-dentity? Well… look at him now! 👀✨

Thanks to our amazing Massachusetts community, Sam’s mix-up turned into a miracle:

🛬 Volunteer Migdaliz D. scooped him up right after his flight, showing him love from the moment he landed.

🏠 Foster mom Jennie W. took him in on a moment’s notice, giving him a safe place to rest and reset.

🎉 And now, adopters Katie V. & Michelle V. have given Sam the loving forever home he was always meant to have.

From “oops” to absolutely perfect — Sam’s journey reminds us how much love and teamwork it takes to get these pups home. 💫
