We encountered a kitten outside a superstore three days ago, but an employee claiming to be his caretaker wouldn't let us take him. Over the next three days, we kept finding him alone in different locations - parking spaces, bouquet shops, and wedding venues - realizing he was being severely neglected. This morning while boating, we discovered him at the boating site in very poor health after days of dangerous wandering. The employee finally apologized and admitted his neglect, asking us to take him, so we brought him home where our foster cats welcomed him lovingly.

We first spotted a young kitten wandering alone near a gas station, and over the next day kept encountering him in different locations showing signs of severe neglect. His mama had abandoned him and the worker who claimed ownership wasn't providing adequate food, water, or supervision, leaving him to wander dangerously through streets. We finally found him at a grocery store elevator desperately asking people for help, but everyone ignored him. We informed the worker we were taking him, brought him to the vet for vaccination, and gave him a loving home where our foster cats welcomed him warmly.
