The Lahore Zoo The Lahore Zoo page is dedicated to providing a window into the lives of the wonderful animals that reside within the Lahore Zoo!

The Lahore Zoo is one of the largest zoos in South Asia and is also thought to be the 4th oldest zoo in the world. Originally a small aviary, over time the number of animals increased and today it houses over 1300 animals. Initially managed by the Lahore Municipal Corporation, it now comes under the Wildlife and Parks Dept. of the Government, with the Zoo Maintenance Committee in charge of its welfare.
