We are so happy to announce that Santa's Helfurrs Batch 4 was a success! 🥳 Although it wasn't as cinematic as the story above, it really felt like one 😂. We never imagined we could distribute everything with only four volunteers 🥵. Determination is such a powerful thing. Luckily, it was something all four of us had in common. Nevertheless, we were able to feed more or less 100 strays near Mananga River, Talisay City, Cebu. The documentation was extra challenging because our hands were always full 😵💫.
Most of these animals were survivors of the devastating floods brought about by typhoon , which triggered the Mananga river to overflow on November 4, 2025. What's interesting is that most of these "strays" actually have homes. And more than that, they are part of the family. Some owners even asked for food to give to their pets at home. Which we gladly did so since some areas were less accessible.
And of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible support of our generous Santa's Helfurrs donors 🫶. Your contribution was a major part of this success and you were with us in every step of the way. In the end, we were left with empty boxes and wobbly legs 😂. But everything was soooooo worth it.
It was worth every energy. 💖
