Athena was brought in after accidentally ingesting chocolate—a serious concern because chocolate is toxic to dogs. It contains theobromine and caffeine, substances that dogs cannot metabolize as efficiently as humans.

Depending on the type and amount of chocolate eaten, poisoning can cause vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, tremors, abnormal heart rhythms, seizures, and in severe cases, can be life-threatening.

Fortunately, Athena received prompt veterinary care and close monitoring. With timely treatment and dedicated care from the team, she made a successful recovery and was able to go home happy and healthy. 🐾🧡 Another happy ending for Athena!

It’s only been one week since Metropolitant Animal Hospital officially opened, and we are overwhelmed by the trust and support we’ve received from our amazing pet community.

Today was our busiest day since we opened, as we had the privilege of caring for pets through consultations, vaccinations, surgery, emergency cases, and grooming services.

To every pet parent who chose to trust us with your beloved companions—thank you. Your confidence in our team inspires us to continue providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care every single day.
