Oh, come on. Ganito na ba talaga ka-low ang profession natin?
Anonymous posting in a public group, for what purpose? If the goal is to seek enlightenment or learn from a case, shouldn't that happen in the proper forum where the full clinical context can be discussed?
And why is the immediate blame directed at the medication when the patient was already sick to begin with? Medicine should always be evaluated within the context of the patient's condition, diagnostics, and overall management not through assumptions based on a single anonymous post baka mamaya thereโs no proper referral form done, base sa sabi sabi.
It's sad that this kind of toxicity has become so common in our industry. We should be fostering professional discussions, evidence-based learning, and mutual respect, not public speculation and blame.
Let's do better for our profession, our colleagues, and most importantly, for our patients.

A recent anonymous post circulating in a veterinary Facebook group questioned why some clinics treat canine babesiosis with medications such as metronidazole instead of imidocarb dipropionate or atovaquone plus azithromycin. The post further suggested that these patients later seek second opinions with severe organ damage because they supposedly received the "wrong" treatment.
