After the iconic tricycle costume win of my my Chihuahua Chanel Cabuhat I created when she competed and won in Miss Canine Universe 2022 as Best in National Costume in New York inspired by the creation of Khandie Segovia we used in company events and pageants, now is another award winning one - Jeepney Costume dedicated to the jeepney drivers of the Philippines with 3 costume changes for my cat 🐱

Thank you to all who helped and assisted me from the SM guards, my pet fashionista friends like Kent and Ninong Camilo and Bf Jet, to mommy Tess and family for showing love, mommy Merlyn Intong for the Cat grass and helping me with my crown and costume , to the audience who cheered and to the Cyberzone sellers who showed love and concern to my cat while we were preparing. It’s my cat’s win after the series and numerous grand wins of Coco Chanel my dog since the 1st BKP Pet Fashion Show

Theme: Filipino Folklore

Me as LAQUI – (Bicolano) A frightening creature believed in by the ancient Bicolanos. It has the hair and feet of a goat but the face of an ugly man. It is generally harmless, appearing at night and surprising people with its voice.

Bottega as MINOKAWA In Philippine mythology, Minokawa is a giant, dragon-like bird believed to cause solar eclipses by swallowing the sun. It’s depicted as having enormous wings that can block out the sky and sharp, sword-like feathers, and claws and beak of steel. Ancient Filipinos would make noise and light fires to scare it away when it appeared to be devouring the sun.

In Philippine mythology, Bakunawa is a serpent-like dragon or sea serpent believed to cause eclipses by swallowing the moon. It’s a significant figure in Visayan and Bicolano folklore, often depicted with a looped tail and a horn. The Bakunawa is also associated with earthquakes, rains, and wind
