Cats of Araneta City

Cats of Araneta City Our volunteer group aims to care for the stray, community cats in Araneta City, Cubao 💜 We are not a rescue group or animal shelter.

Our activities in Araneta City include:
- feeding and monitoring the stray cats
- facilitating kapon (TNVR) and other veterinary treatment for sick and injured cats
- rehoming cats or getting them adopted
- educating the public on animal rights and welfare

Please note that we do not take in unwanted or homeless cats. We are not organized and trained to rescue. We are simply volunteers who feed an

Honey and her meowmy, Alyssa Sidic, were meant to be happy and beautiful together. ❤️

Alyssa first met Honey at the Farmer’s Market when she was just a thin, dirty little kitten in need of help. At first, Alyssa only planned to foster her until a forever family could be found. But as days turned into weeks and then months, it became clear that Honey had already found her forever — right in Alyssa’s kind and caring arms. 🐾💕

Bucky is alive. He is healing. The prayers of his family, their love, and the hearts and well-wishes of the community truly worked.

Last August 25, we asked everyone to storm the heavens with prayers for Bucky (aka Brave). He was diagnosed with kidney failure, suffering from painful dental issues, swollen bleeding gums… he was skin and bones, dehydrated, weak and lethargic. He would paw at his mouth to ease the pain, only to make it bleed more. Surgery was too risky because of his kidneys. The prognosis was grim.
Dylan and her family prepared for the worst, keeping a 24-hour watch by his side. Her Tito, who loved Bucky like a child, even slept on the floor next to him.

Dylan shared: “I’ve never seen my Tito cry but last night he did.”

Then the miracle happened. The bleeding stopped. Bucky began to heal. Slowly, he started to eat, drink, and even groom himself again. Though still frail, his strength and bravery shone through.

God is truly good—and Bucky is living proof.

Wiggle - I have a wound on my neck that a reporter said had squirming insects. It was probably because I would hide among the plants. For a long while, I was very scared and used to hiss and run away from humans until a feeder became brave enough to catch and cage me. Aside from my neck wound, I was also treated for cat flu and will be vaccinated in a few days. I am well already and request for your help. I don’t want to keep hiding among the plants. I want a home and a family po. I also need P3,000 to pay for my vet bills and 3 in 1 vaccine. I am dreaming and praying for your help. Please share your blessings with me. ❤️🙏🏻

Please storm the heavens with prayers. Bucky aka Brave urgently needs your prayers. 🙏🏻 He was diagnosed with kidney failure last June 2025 and has since been in and out of the veterinary clinic for treatment but to no avail. He is now in the last stage of kidney failure. Bucky was adopted last 2019 by Dylan Balde and family. They have through the years loved and cared for Bucky as no other family could. Although he was already amputated and a tripod when they adopted him, Bucky stuck by his alpha male role and was often hostile to other male cats. Still, Dylan and her Tito stuck by Bucky. Now, the whole family is very sad, worried and often reduced to tears as they take turns watching and caring for Bucky. Your prayers and words of comfort to Dylan and family are so needed at this time. Please send “hearts” ❤️ and prayers 🙏🏻 to Bucky, Dylan and family in the comment section. 🙏🏻😢❤️
