Happy Corgi Day 🐶

🎉 **Happy International Corgi Day!** 🎉

Today, we celebrate the charming and spirited Welsh Corgis, both the Pembroke and Cardigan breeds! 🐾

🐕 **Pembroke Welsh Corgis** are known for their royal connection and have been adored by British royalty for decades. They are able to trace their lineage tracing back to the 12th century when Flemish weavers brought their dogs to Wales.

🐕 **Cardigan Welsh Corgis** are the older of the two breeds, with their ancestry dating back over 3,000 years. They were brought to Wales by Celtic tribes around 1200 BCE and have been herding cattle ever since.

Both breeds share a rich history in Wales, herding cattle and being beloved companions. They are known for their intelligence, agility, and strong-willed nature, making them as much a joy to work with as they are to cuddle.

Jelly is a sensitive 5-year-old cat, and preferred to hang out in her hide box when she first arrived. With time and some patience, she started coming around! Jelly may be a good fit for someone with a lower traffic home and some patience to allow her to do what she needs to do to feel comfortable in a new environment.

Frizzle is a delightful 2.5-year-old feline with a uniquely independent spirit. She is a sensitive and shy cat, and her independent nature makes her an ideal companion for those who appreciate the quieter, more contemplative moments of feline companionship.

Yahtzee is a sweet 9-year-old guy who takes a little bit of time to gain some confidence in new situations. To help Yahtzee come out of his shell and be his friend, offer him yummy treats! After treats, he usually loves to be petted. He can be very affectionate and snuggly once he feels safe with you.

Tux is a sophisticated 4-year-old cat with a heart of gold. She is a cat of refined tastes, preferring solitude over constant attention. She's not loud or pushy, but that just means she's really thoughtful. If you like having a friend who notices the little things and is good at listening, Tux is the friend for you!
