Winona’s Road to Relief 🐾

Winona, a female dog, was brought to the clinic due to hematuria (blood in the urine) and difficulty urinating. Further diagnostic tests including X-ray and ultrasound revealed the presence of a single urolith (bladder stone) causing her discomfort.

To address the problem, cystotomy was performed to surgically remove the bladder stone. At the same time, Winona’s responsible owner chose to have her spayed during the same procedure, using gas anesthesia for a safer and faster recovery.

Combining these procedures not only relieved Winona from the painful stone but also helps prevent future reproductive diseases.

From pain to relief—Winona is now on her way to a healthier and happier life. 🐶✨

🐾 Buzz vs. Plastic: A Life Saved 🩺

Buzz, a male Golden Retriever, traveled all the way from Cagayan Province to undergo gastrotomy and enterotomy after ingesting foreign objects including plastic materials and plastic bottle caps, resulting in a life-threatening gastrointestinal obstruction.

He showed persistent vomiting, inappetence, and lethargy for 4 days—critical warning signs that required immediate veterinary attention. Through timely diagnosis (contrast radiography), meticulous surgical intervention, and dedicated post-operative care, the foreign bodies were successfully removed. Buzz is now on the road to recovery and regaining his strength. 💛

This case highlights not only the seriousness of foreign body ingestion, but also the dedication of fur parents willing to go the extra mile—literally—for their pet’s life.
