Hi all! Just want to share yung aking Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) from Japan, just like the maple tree na akala natin hindi kayang mabuhay dito sa Pinas, but here it is, namulaklak pa yung Sakura dito sa garden ko sa QC kahit na mainit ang climate. Akala natin makakakita lang tayo ng flowering Sakura sa Atok Benguet, you are all welcome to visit my place para makita nyo ng actual yung beauty ng Sakura flowers.

Acer palmatum Taylor is one of the prettiest pink variegated Japanese maple. It's leaves are deeply lobed, with the whole leaf emerging overall pink in the spring, then turning to light green in the center from early summer, it gains prominent white margins and will hold its pink color throughout the whole season.
Taylor is a very slow growing Japanese maple, and will eventually grow about 6 feet tall and wide.

Japanese maple "Ukigumo"

A fascinating Japanese maple, acer palmatum "Ukigumo" or "Floating clouds", is a decidous shrub or small tree with the most outstanding variegated foliage. Emerging pale green in spring with white spots and soft pink shades on the edges, the medium-sized leaves may have no markings while others may be solid white or pink. Later in the season, the pink fades away. It is ideal for containers or small gardens.
