Sol, a Building 12 community cat who had been cared for by a volunteer since birth, was found dead at Building 5 last February 14. The alleged cause was poisoning which may have been intentional or unintentional. Cats naturally help reduce rodent and roach populations. Please avoid using rat, roach poison, and the like as they are deadly to animals and humans if they are accidentally ingested.

UPDATE: It was confirmed that 3 cats died due to overspeeding several hours apart at that time. The last one to be confirmed was Danpot of Buiding 15.

It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of our two community cats on two consecutive days last week due to overspeeding. One of them is Matt, who had just been neutered two weeks ago. The other is Rogue, one of Elektra/Fake Poy's kittens.

Please maintain the speed limit of 10-20 kph within the community for the safety of not only the community cats but also the kids.

Streets are harsh environments for cats. Please adopt and keep them safe inside your homes as much as you can.

Arezzo cats Tin, Muffles, Ronnie, and Matt were neutered yesterday at PPBCC. By having them fixed, more or less 400 cats were saved.

Simply approach a volunteer who will assess your suitability as a foster and suggest the best cat based on your personality and preference. If the cat you'd like to adopt is in Building 5, approach our Building 5 volunteers, and so on.

*ADOPTION PROCESS FOR NON-AREZZO RESIDENTS
1. Answer the Google form on our Notion Page:

2. Wait for the assessment result which will be sent via email and SMS within 3-5 business days. Please keep your lines open.

3. You may have to visit the cat/s first before finalizing the adoption or you may pick up the cat/s right away once the assessment is finalized. In the form, include your 3 best schedules for visiting or picking up the cat. This will be matched with the volunteers’ availability. Arezzo guards will also be informed of your arrival.

4. Please bring a cat carrier when picking up your new fur baby.

We're very thankful to have a new volunteer feeder at Building 20 where around 5 cats frequent the garbage area and other parts of the building. The pregnant cat is also sometimes seen around the commercial area. She seems to have been harmed intentionally. Please share your blessings with these cats. They need cat food, not garbage and discarded human food. Please foster them if you can.

These Building 19 cats are constantly fed by two volunteers — they have already adopted 6 of them, 9 are for adoption, and 1 has a privileged owner. We may want them all to stay together this way, but as much as possible, if there are suitable adopters who would welcome them into their homes, that would be preferable. Please take time to get to know these cats and send love to our most valued volunteers. 💖💖💖💖💖
