It is with heavy hearts that we share that Tabby crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾
Tabby was first found around July 2024, where she grew up alongside Gray and Mama Pearlie. At first, we thought Tabby was Pearlie’s kitten — but later, based on a vet check-up, we realized that Tabby was actually older.
Tabby became known as our nonchalant baby girl. She didn’t have as many expressions as other cats, but behind her calm and unbothered face was a very sweet and gentle soul.
For a time, Tabby was fostered by a volunteer who cared for her, until she eventually found her forever home with Heds and Erica — the family who would love her for the rest of her life.
In her home, she loved basking in the morning sun and lived for Churu treats. She was Twixie the Chihuahua’s favorite sister, and she even taught her how to “steal” her food — and she was the only sister Twixie was allowed to steal from in return. When a big dog joined the family, Tabby was the first to welcome him. She also took Kiva, their black cat, under her wing and taught her how to be polite. They lovingly called her Ate Tabby.
Even though they bought her many pet beds, she chose the cardboard box every single time. She had a love-hate relationship with cuddles, yet they would often wake up to her on top of them making biscuits. She had very refined taste and preferred expensive cat food, and she never met a laptop she didn’t want to sit on.
Unfortunately, Tabby passed away due to complications from CKD. Her furrents did everything they could to help her and gave her so much love until the very end. With the love and dedication of her vet, Doc , they all gave Tabby their very best.
Tabby was deeply loved — as a sister, as an Ate, as a daughter. Run free, Tabby. No more pain. You will forever be loved. 🐾🌈
