Keeping pets safe during typhoons and calamities

Before the Storm
• Bring pets indoors: Keep them protected from strong winds, heavy rain, and flying debris.

• Prepare an emergency kit: Include food. water, medications, a first-aid kit, blankets, toys, leashes, and collars.

• Prepare a safe space: Designate a secure area in your home where your pets can stay during the storm, ensuring it’s dry, comfortable, and away from windows.

• Keep identification handy: Make sure pets have collars with ID tags, and consider microchipping.

• Prepare an evacuation plan: Know where you can go with your pets, and have a carrier or crate ready.
