🐾 Recycled Paleta Project – Shelter Home
For animals who have been victims of neglect and abuse.

In this season when the world is busy—joyful, lively, filled with lights and Christmas songs—you stand there, watching from afar. While others celebrate, you are once again wrapped in sorrow, in tears, in grief. Because you have no home to shelter you, no family to be with on Christmas Day.

Friends, kind-hearted souls— This project is what we call the Recycled Paleta Project. It may not be built with concrete materials, it may not be grand, but it is a home rebuilt from simple resources, within a modest budget, and through a faster process of construction. For now, what matters most is that they have a place to stay—a space that is safe, wide, and free, where they can run, play, and live without fear.

This project is not just about wooden pallets, not just about roofs and walls. It is about life. The lives of more than a hundred dogs who were once abandoned, neglected, and hurt. The lives of caregivers who continue to fight every day, despite exhaustion and hardship, because they cannot turn their backs on the creatures who depend solely on them.

This is not just a house. This is a sanctuary of hope—for the dogs who once knew fear and loneliness, and for the caretakers who keep fighting despite the weight of their struggles.

Imagine it: more than 100 dogs waiting, longing, hoping for a place to call home. Each day they look on, praying for the moment when they will finally feel warmth, safety, and love.

We humbly ask for your support in this simple yet joyful project. Every help, whether small or great, is not just material—it is hope. It is love. It is life.

And with your compassion, the promise will be fulfilled: they will never be alone again.

Dear Kevala and Edward Bolton,

Our team would like to extend our deepest thanks for your tremendous help and support. In these difficult times, you stood with us and helped settle Skinny’s veterinary balance. The trust and generosity you gave—without hesitation—were truly necessary and deeply appreciated.

We sincerely hope you will never lose heart, but instead find inspiration in every struggle and every beautiful journey of our rescues. Your compassion is not only a gift to us, but to the entire animal welfare community that shares the same love and empathy as yours.

Though Skinny cannot speak the words, his heart whispers endless gratitude.

Today’s rescue update is one I feel so sad to share.

Two days ago, Skinny (also called Marky) was rescued in a severely malnourished state, nothing but bones, weakness and exhaustion.
His body had been failing long before anyone even knew his name.

His rescuer, Pier's Pet Camp fought so hard for him.
They stayed beside him, hoping he could hold on.
But sometimes their bodies are just too tired… even when rescuers do everything they possibly can.

Joan at Piers Pet Camp posted about Skinny yesterday and words yesterday broke my heart:

“Your body was tired, but your heart stayed strong.
Thank you for fighting.”

This is the reality for frontline rescuers across the Philippines:
- They fight for animals who have fought alone for far too long.
- They carry the emotional, physical and financial weight with no salary, no support and no safety net.
- They experience hope → fear → exhaustion → grief… and then start again.

Skinny didn’t die alone.
He was held. He was cared for.
He finally knew kindness, maybe for the first time in his life.

And that matters.

I quit my life in the UK to document these realities - to build Kevala, a support system to help rescue the rescuers ,so they can continue to do the heroic work they do, becausde every life deserves to be seen, and every rescuer deserves support.

Dobby’s Journey: A Promise of Family

Dobby was rescued from Imus, Cavite, along with his two siblings. Though they had an owner, they were sadly left in neglect. Initially, the plan was to save only Dobby—but when we saw the condition of his siblings, we knew we couldn’t leave them behind.

In the video, you’ll see their mama dog—still there, still waiting. We had no choice but to leave her for now, but we made a promise to Dobby and his siblings: we will return for her. They deserve to be together again, to feel the love and safety of a real family.

This is our appeal—not for ourselves, but for them. Help us build a home where they can reunite, where abandonment is replaced with love, and healing can begin. Let’s keep that promise alive. Let’s give them the life they’ve always longed for.

Dobby is just a baby—barely two months old—when tragedy struck. He was run over, leaving his tiny body broken. His teeth were knocked out, his jaw shattered beyond repair. Now, his mouth hangs open, his tongue exposed, and a foul smell escapes from his lower lip, a sign of deeper pain.

We’ve tried to share his story, again and again, hoping someone would notice. But maybe he’s not “viral” enough. Maybe his suffering isn’t loud enough for the world to hear.

The truth is, the funds we’ve raised aren’t enough. Dobby still needs more tests, more care, more hope. And so we come to you—not for ourselves, but for this little soul who refuses to give up.

Please, don’t turn away. Don’t let Dobby’s story end in silence. Help us give him the healing he deserves. Let’s show him that even the smallest life matters.
