Low-Cost Kapon at Salah Veterinary Clinic 🐶
🐾 Available by Appointment Only ❗

‎💡Why Kapon?
‎✔ Prevents unwanted puppies/kittens
‎✔ Reduces risk of cancer and infections
‎✔ Helps reduce aggressive and roaming behaviors
‎✔ Helps control stray animal population

‎✅ Health Requirements Before Kapon:
‎For the safety of your pet during the procedure:
‎🐾 At least 6 months old
‎🐾 Healthy and active – no signs of illness, wounds, or infections
‎🐾 Minimum weight: 2kg
‎🐾 Up-to-date vaccinations (esp. Anti-Rabies)
‎🐾 Fasting required:
‎• No food and water 12hours before
‎🐾 Females must not be in heat or pregnant

Here's a fun little fact about our furry pals: while dogs can devour just about anything, there are certain foods that can turn them from happy pups into not-so-happy campers! 🚫🍫

Take grapes, for instance. You might think they're a healthy snack, but they're actually a big no-no for dogs. Just a handful can lead to kidney failure! 😱 And don’t get me started on chocolate—because, let’s be real, if dogs could have a sweet tooth, chocolate would be their first choice! 🍫 But it’s a serious danger.

Xylitol, often found in sugar-free gum and some peanut butter, is another sneaky ingredient that can wreak havoc on a dog’s health. It drops their blood sugar and can lead to liver failure! Yikes!

So, next time you're enjoying a snack, remember to keep those toxic foods away from your pup. They may give you those puppy-dog eyes, but trust me, it’s better to stick to doggie treats. 🥳🍖 Let’s keep our furry friends safe and sound!

🌧️🐾 Rainy Season Pet Care Tips! 🐶🐱

The rainy season is here! While it brings a refreshing change in weather, it can also be challenging for our furry companions. Here are some helpful tips to keep your pets healthy and comfortable during rainy days:
1. Keep Them Dry
Always dry your pet immediately after they get wet to prevent colds, skin infections, or that "wet dog" smell. Use a clean towel or pet-friendly blow dryer.
2. Protect Their Paws
Muddy and wet grounds can cause paw infections. Wipe their paws after walks, or consider using pet booties!
3. Watch Out for Parasites
Rainy weather is breeding time for ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes. Keep your pets protected with proper anti-parasitic treatments.
4. Provide a Warm & Dry Shelter
Make sure their sleeping area is cozy and dry. Add a soft blanket or elevated bed to keep them warm.
5. Monitor Food & Water
Keep food bowls clean and dry to avoid mold or contamination. Always provide fresh drinking water.
6. Less Walks, More Play Indoors
If it’s too wet or stormy outside, give them plenty of indoor playtime and stimulation.
7. Watch for Skin Problems
Fungal and bacterial infections are common during damp weather. Check their coat and skin regularly.
