2023 Philippine Goldfish Groomers Cup is a 4 months Grow Out contest. He's been an ornamental fish enthusiast since his elementary years.

JUDILLOID SUAN OVALO, Philippine Goldfish Groomers Cup Organizer, is based in Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay. He is a Local Government Operations Officer VI (DILG Officer) assigned in LGU Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay. And last 2020, he started to get involved in the ornamental fish industry in Zamboanga Sibugay Province, which resulted in the launching of JM Fish Sanctuary and Farm Technologies. By 202

1, he spearheaded the founding of the Sibugay Goldfish Keepers Association (SGKA) known today as Sibugay Ornamental Fish Industries Association Inc (SOFIA). He’s been serving as its president up to the present and was able to register the association along with its incorporators at the Securities and Exchange Commission last December 2022. He organized his first Grow Out competition last 2022 which was dubbed “The Beast of Black Thai Oranda” with fishes from, Garripaul del Rosario of Zamboanga City. It was a very successful conduct having all the fishes been shipped and received by all participants within 24 hours. Last February 2023, once again, he conceptualized this 2023 Philippine Goldfish Groomers Cup: Amihan Edition, to challenge top groomers in the entire Philippines for a four (4) month grooming challenge. It was successful as well with 44 entries reaching the finals for judging from the 90 participants all over the country. Winners on the PGGC Amihan Edition were proclaimed and awarded 1 week after the cut-off of the final submission and cash prizes were credited within 24 hours from the proclamation to all winners. After a while, He was able to gather good oranda goldfish genes to start his own goldfish lineage. Last June 2023, he was able to breed his F1 batches where he was able to grow around 50+ potentials and another 20+ material grades for his next generation of breeders. This was the birth of the ZamPen Goldfish Line.
