ADOPTED 💛

From being impounded and unsure of what tomorrow would bring, Joey (previously “Max”) is now safe, loved, and finally home.

To Joey’s new family, thank you for opening your hearts and home. And to everyone reading this—there are still many dogs waiting for their own happy ending. If you’ve been thinking about fostering or adopting, now is the time.

Please send us a message and help another dog find the love they have been waiting for. 😊

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY 💛

Today (and every day!), we celebrate our loyal companions—their wagging tails, unconditional love, and the joy they bring into our lives.

But beyond the cuddles and smiles, let’s also remember the countless strays and impounded dogs still waiting for a chance at love and safety. Every dog deserves a home where they are cared for and treated with kindness.

Adopt, don’t shop. Love, don’t neglect. Protect, don’t abandon. 🐶✨

SAFE AND LOVED 🌸

Our sweet Millie gave birth to five precious puppies last night, August 24. When we rescued her from the pound, we didn’t know she was pregnant—but we’re so grateful she didn’t have to give birth there.

Millie and her little ones are now safe and being cared for in the loving home of one of our dedicated volunteers. Let’s give them time to heal and adjust—once they’re ready, they’ll all be up for adoption.

On August 20, 2025, our team was given the opportunity to sit down and raise our concerns with City Administrator Atty. MacLord Zafra, City Councilor Pastor John Antolo, Acting Agriculture Head Ricky Muscosa, and City Veterinarian Dr. Anselmo Perez.

We understand that impounding and culling will still continue as mandated under City Ordinance No. 2007-003. While this remains heartbreaking for us, we also appreciate that the city has expressed willingness to strengthen efforts that can help prevent the cycle of abandonment, reproduction, and neglect, such as:

• Implementing pet registration (within the city proper);
• Holding spay/neuter operations; and
• Up-to-date social media postings of impounded dogs for the public to see

These measures are already mandated in City Ordinance No. 2007-003, and we hope to see them fully carried out. If consistently implemented, they can make a real difference. We believe that these are not the final solution, but they demonstrate that progress is possible when compassion is incorporated into the decision-making process.

For us, this is a reminder to keep working together—with the city, with the community, and with fellow animal advocates—for more humane and lasting solutions. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, and we stay committed until no stray animal in Kabankalan has to suffer or die unseen.

To the Kabankalan City Administrator, thank you for making this important discussion possible. And to everyone who has stood by us and continues to support our mission—thank you. Your encouragement gives us the strength to carry on.

FROM HOPELESS TO HEALING.

This is King a few days ago vs. King today. Before, he was too weak to stand, eat, or even move. Now, his eyes are clearer, his body stronger, and he can stand on his own! Yay!

King is one of the dogs we pulled out from the pound and is now safe in foster care. Thanks to the power of medical attention, love, and compassion, he is slowly regaining his strength and health.

From hopeless to healing—this is what rescue means! 💛
