Our latest rescue from the pest control operation has officially been adopted.

Next week, we’ll be scheduling his anti-rabies vaccine and deworming before he goes to his new home. It’s honestly bittersweet letting him go. Among all the boys in the pack, he was the sweetest and the shyest — always the one getting bullied by the others. Because of that, we always knew he deserved a home where he would be loved gently and fully.

We made sure his adopters are kind, responsible, and that their home is safe and secure. We named him Strike, though Ma’am Nancy lovingly calls him Spike.

We’re so excited for the beautiful life ahead of you, baby. Manang will definitely come visit you soon. Please grow up happy, safe, and deeply loved — the way you always deserved.

To everyone reading this, I hope more people will open not just their homes, but also their hearts to strays. They may come from the streets, but they have so much love to give. 🥺🤍

Asta san o ni? 💔

We demand a province where stray animals are treated with compassion, not cruelty. It is already 2026, yet the answer to population control is still poisoning and killing dogs. This is not humane, and it is not the kind of community we should be proud of.

Stray animals are living beings that feel fear, pain, hunger, and suffering. They do not deserve to be abandoned, abused, or exterminated simply because systems have failed them. What we need are real, long-term solutions: responsible pet ownership, accessible spay and neuter programs, rescue and rehabilitation efforts, proper shelters, and education rooted in empathy.

We call for provincial veterinarians and local officials who are truly pro-animal welfare — leaders who believe in protecting strays instead of treating them as pests. Compassion should never be seen as weakness. A progressive and humane province is one that cares for the voiceless.

Killing is not population control. Poison is not care. We can do better, and we must do better.

UPDATE on East Valencia Doggo

First of all, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has shared, prayed, and stepped up for this helpless doggo. Because of your kindness, we have some progress to share:

Fundraising Update: We have raised a total of ₱1,230 so far, thanks to 4 kind-hearted individuals who sent donations to help cover potential rescue and transportation expenses.

Action Taken: We are currently trying to speak and coordinate with the Barangay Captain Shem Fernandez to determine the best legal and safest ways to intervene, secure the dog, and figure out how we can help him immediately.

Ma’am Lally Nava and Doc Nene Nava have kindly offered to shoulder the transportation expenses and personally adopt the dog. Because of their generosity, the collected funds will instead be reserved for future rescue cases.

As many of you know, we only conduct fundraising for urgent rescue situations or emergency cases. All rescues currently under our care are sustained by our family as solo rescuers, through our own dedication and resources.

We are truly grateful for people like the Nava family, who continuously extend their kindness and support to help us save more lives. Your compassion and willingness to help mean so much not only to us, but especially to the animals who are given a second chance because of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

URGENT: Dog in East Valencia, Guimaras Needs Help

There is a poor dog in East Valencia, Guimaras owned by a senior citizen. The dog is suffering from flea infestation and neglect, and it was reported that the owner plans to stop feeding the dog until it dies.

Please remember that animal neglect is a form of abuse and is punishable under the Animal Welfare Act.

This innocent dog deserves care, safety, and a chance to live. If anyone is willing to adopt or rescue this poor guy, please open your home and help save a life.

Please share this post so the dog can get the help it urgently needs.

We are deeply grateful to Tito Doc Nene Nava, Tita Lally Nava, and Vice Mayor Anna Philippa Nava, for their generous support in extending our mini shelter and building a kubo for the dogs. They kindly provided all the materials and labor at no cost—something we never expected or asked for.

Once it’s finished, we’ll be able to properly separate the male and female dogs and better manage their population, especially since only one male has been neutered.

Their family has also been incredibly supportive of strays and has adopted rescues of their own.

Thank you so much, Nava family. Your family is truly a blessing to strays. ❤️
