Dasher is your typical Golden Retriever—he wants to PLAY ALL DAY. 😭
And he loves ALL kinds of water.
Clean water? YES.
Rainwater? YES.
Little puddles? YES.
MUDDY WATER? HIS FAVORITE.😭😂
He has a big backyard, so every morning he rolls around the grass, stomps through the mud, and comes back looking like he had the best day of his life.
Meanwhile, I work at night, so by daytime my energy is almost always GONE. 🤧
For the past 3 years, we’ve been bathing him every 3 days because he gets stinky pretty quickly with all his activities, and his fluffy fur seems to collect every piece of dirt imaginable.
And bathing a Golden Retriever at home?
TWO-MAN JOB.
We also can’t leave him dirty because he sleeps with us on the bed—and this boy cannot sleep without his AIRCON. 😭🙄
So I was constantly buying shampoo and cologne. The colognes we used before were cheaper, but we’d finish them so quickly that I was buying another bottle again and again.
And since people LOVE petting Dasher when we go outside, I always want him smelling fresh.
Because if someone pets him and says, “Ay, mabaho.”
ABA, HINDI PWEDE. 😡🤣
Then one day, I asked my sister to buy his usual cologne because we had finished another bottle. She couldn’t find it, so she came home with this little orange bottle from Saint Roche.
And honestly, I was like…
“ANG MAHAL NAMAN NITO.”😭😂 (Kuripot spotted hahah)
But she already bought it, so sige na nga. Try na namin.
I sprayed the Saint Roche Heaven Scent Cologne on Dasher and immediately understood why it cost a little more.
He smelled SO GOOD.
That amoy baby, amoy fresh, amoy nakakagigil —kind of smell. 🥹❤️
And what surprised me most was how LONG the scent lasted.
That’s when I realized—yes, the other cologne was cheaper, but because we kept finishing bottles so quickly, I was actually spending more money in the long run.
Then we discovered the Saint Roche Dry Shampoo.
And THIS was the real game changer. 😭❤️
I just use it on Dasher and he stays fresh and mabango for DAYS. No joke!
For a Golden Retriever who spends his mornings rolling around grass and mud, that is honestly a HIMALA!
Because of Saint Roche, I can now stretch his baths to once a week—or even a few more days when Mommy is feeling lazy. 😜
And trust me, I am VERY happy about that because bathing this big fluffy boy is HARD HA! 😂
What started with me complaining that the cologne was a little expensive turned into something I genuinely love.
Sometimes, the cheaper option isn’t really cheaper when you have to keep replacing it.*❤️
Now, Heaven Scent is our go-to.
So happy we found Saint Roche. We’re definitely not going back!
