This stray cat was posted on May 9th urgently looking for help. Its leg was severely fractured due to an unknown reason (but possibly a vehicular accident). It already smells foul and looks very infected.

The next day, we brought it to the ortho vet to manage his condition while waiting for operation. Yesterday (May 14), his leg was finally amputated.

This little kitten survived panleukopenia, coronavirus and had her limb amputated. Her chance to survive was already low...

Barbielat is one of the semi-abandoned dogs that we've been taking care of since January. She's with three intact male dogs which we're planning to hopefully neuter soon 🤞

📝 BART'S BEFORE AND AFTER ❤️

Bart was rescued on February 27, three days after he got hit-and-run on a highway in Nueva Ecija. I fetched him on his first vet on March 2 and after two days, his surgeries were done at Deloso VET Caloocan.

Bart underwent enucleation for his right eye while the other one stayed though it was already blind. For his dislocated jaw, a cerclage wiring was installed on his mandible.

It is now two months after his accident and Bart has completely adjusted with his new face and his life with us. Though his face looks funny, it is a symbol of his resiliency.
