Cashier Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure pricing is correct in all products
• Handle cash and online payment transactions with customers
• Scan goods and collect payments, Issue changes, receipts, refunds, or tickets
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Redeem membership points
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products, and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment
• Maintain a clean and tidy store
• Keep reports of transactions
• Process returns and check to see if items are damaged
• Answer customers' questions and get a manager if the answer doesn't solve the issue
• Ensure the system's and physical stock inventory is accurate or tally and request replenishment if the stocks are below the safety stock level.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Reply to page
• Any other duties/tasks/projects as assigned.
