I define pride as accepting who I really am and not being afraid to show it.

I used to be confused and scared to express myself, fearful of what others may think or say. However, I came across people who encouraged me, accepted me, and showed me that being different is perfectly acceptable. Because of them, I found the courage to shine.

Now, as a coach at Labrador BVC Bateria's Volleyball Community and a youth leader, I've made it my mission to provide a safe environment in which young people may be themselves without fear. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself, and how life-changing it is when someone simply believes in you. Every training session and every conversation is all an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and tell them that they belong.

This journey, both mine and theirs, is a gift I hold close to my heart.

To anyone who’s still figuring things out, take your time. You are loved exactly as you are, and you are not alone. Keep going.

As a student, I’m proud to support and stand with the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone deserves to feel safe, accepted, and free to be themselves in school and everywhere else.

To all my classmates and friends in the community: you are seen, you are valued, and you are loved.

To all those who feel unseen or unheard you matter. Your identity is valid. Your love is beautiful. And your presence makes this world brighter.

Let’s keep learning, growing, and spreading love & kindness and lifting each other up, and creating a world where everyone can shine. 🏳️‍🌈

This June, we stand with our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters in celebrating the power of love, identity, and freedom. Pride is not just a celebration — it’s a movement rooted in courage, history, and the ongoing fight for equality.

As your SK Chairperson, I want to say this clearly that you are seen, you are heard, and you are loved — just as your are . No one should ever feel the need to hide who they are or whom they love. In our community, there is space for everyone regardless of gender, orientation, or identity.

We honor those who have paved the way, those who continue to advocate for justice, and those simply trying to live as their true selves. Your journey matters. Your voice matters. And your pride inspires us all.

Let us continue building a community where acceptance is the norm, and kindness is our language.

Greetings with Pride, PHOENIX!

Happy Pride Month to our fierce and fabulous family!

It’s that time of the year again when our colors shine even brighter, and our voices echo louder with pride, unity, and celebration. Whether online or offline, our presence and power are undeniable. The banners we wave and the flags we raise symbolize more than just identity - they stand for strength, love, and community.

As we begin this year’s Pride Month celebration, let’s take a moment to honor the vibrant contributions of PHOENIX to Barangay Bateria and beyond. Our unity, resilience, and advocacy continue to light the way for a more inclusive future.

We’re also proud to announce that PHOENIX is now officially registered (2024) with the National Youth Commission, becoming the 4th youth organization in the Municipality of Daanbantayan to achieve this milestone! This recognition reflects the passion and purpose we bring to every initiative.

Let’s continue to rise, shine, and celebrate because who we are is something to be proud of every day.

The 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒓: 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂’𝒔 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒚𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 (𝑳𝑩𝑽𝑪) is seeking donations of 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 to create benches, chairs, and tables for our volleyball court.

🎯𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑾𝒆’𝒓𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒐𝒓:

1.Wooden planks
2.Wooden pallets
3.Old wooden furniture (even if damaged)

🎯𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑾𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒑:

We aim to repurpose these materials to provide seating and tables for players and supporters, enhancing our community’s volleyball experience.
