"Every upgrade is a confession. Every shot, a calculus of guilt."
NiuShen15 built the arsenal. Each weapon is a chapter of his atonement — a tool forged from broken systems, scavenged tech, and the stubborn will to keep people alive. The nine families of guns are not just weapons; they are Niushen’s engineering milestones, each with three iterations that tell a story: prototype (1), hardened field model (2), and signature reforged variant (3). Use them, upgrade them, and learn what each version cost him.
Arsenal Lore — The Dominion Line (Compact entries for in-game flavor)
P — Pistol (P1 • P2 • P3)
P1: Dominion Sidearm prototype — cheap, reliable, the first thing Niushen handed to survivors.
P2: Stabilized recoil, gutted firmware to ignore corrupted targeting nets.
P3: N15 Signature: micro-CPU target-assist built from a dead sentinel’s core — accurate under panic.
AR — Automatic Rifle (AR1 • AR2 • AR3)
AR1: Mass-produced assault frame repurposed for urban fighting.
AR2: Reinforced gas system, magazine feed tuned to inconsistent ammo batches.
AR3: Burst-control firmware and heat-vent lattice — sustained suppression without system lock.
SMG — Sub-machine Gun (SMG1 • SMG2 • SMG3)
SMG1: Close-quarters suppressor with fast handling.
SMG2: Polished feed and dampeners for stealth sorties inside the fortress.
SMG3: Niushen’s compact stormgun — extreme ROF, bled for controllability by code.
CB — Crossbow (CB1 • CB2 • CB3)
CB1: Jury-rigged bolt launcher for silent kills and salvaging parts.
CB2: Lethal payload variants (explosive, EMP) for tactical disruption.
CB3: Pneumatic rail-bolt hybrid — penetrates light armor, silent enough to hide a breach.
RL — Rocket Launcher (RL1 • RL2 • RL3)
RL1: Salvaged launcher firing crude ordinance.
RL2: Stabilized warheads, safer launch sequencing after a costly lab fire.
RL3: Cluster-pattern round and auto-safe arm — clears horde choke points at a price.
GL — Gr***de Launcher (GL1 • GL2 • GL3)
GL1: Fragmentation rounds to thin zombie waves.
GL2: Timed and airburst munitions for fortified positions.
GL3: Programmable payloads (incendiary / corrosive) — designed to deny infected advances.
SG — Shotgun (SG1 • SG2 • SG3)
SG1: Pump-action scatter for entry teams.
SG2: Slug-tuned barrels for mid-range danger.
SG3: Semi-auto breacher with adjustable spread — built around one critical night in the ruins.
S — Sniper (S1 • S2 • S3)
S1: Old Dominion marksman rifle with optical ghosts.
S2: Ballistic compensator and predictive lead reticle (manual input required).
S3: Long-barrel system with coded stabilization — Niushen used this to take out a corrupted sentinel at 600m.
RG — Railgun (RG1 • RG2 • RG3)
RG1: Experimental coil pistol — violent, inefficient, terrifying.
RG2: Capacitor regulation improves fire cadence and safety.
RG3: Field-repaired rail array with condensed power pack — single-shot, guaranteed stop against armored aberrations.
Version Meaning & Gameplay Hooks
1 = Prototype: cheap, available early, forgiving.
2 = Field Model: requires parts/credits to craft; balanced, reliable.
3 = Signature: rare, unlocked through story milestones or high XP; each 3rd-tier carries Niushen’s personal modifications (unique sound, visual imprint, and small gameplay perk).
• Each weapon version was born from a crisis scene Niushen survived; upgrading one reveals a short voice-log or blueprint fragment that expands the hero’s backstory.
• Some weapons contain remnants of Dominion AI code — interacting with them can unlock minor passive systems or side objectives.
• The more you use a weapon family, the more Niushen’s narration shifts from technical notes to personal memory, tying progression to character development.
