Starting June 1, recycling collection in North Bay is changing. Blue boxes will be replaced with wheeled recycling carts, and all recycling will go into one cart - no sorting required.
The system will be managed by Circular Materials, which will continue to oversee recycling collection, cart delivery, and resident support.
What residents should know:
• Recycling will still be collected every two weeks
• Cart delivery begins in May 2026
• Most households will automatically receive a 360-litre recycling cart
Prefer a smaller cart? Residents can request a 240-litre cart between March 16 and April 10 through Circular Materials.
