MassKara 2025 to Host Pet-Friendly Picnic Party: A Celebration for Pawrents and Furbabies

BACOLOD CITY – From the heart of the city that wears the “City of Smiles” proudly, comes another heartwarming celebration proving once again that the MassKara Festival is truly a MassKara for all—even for our beloved pets.

On October 12, 2025, the Petskara Picnic Party will transform the BCGC Grounds into a haven for fur parents and their four-legged companions. From 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., the day promises laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories built on the bond between Bacolodnons and their pets.

The program will feature picnic-style games, socialization activities for pets, and the much-awaited Pet Fashion Show, where cats and dogs will take center stage. In keeping with the city’s thrust toward sustainability, the show will challenge pawrents to create outfits out of recycled materials—turning trash into sass—as their furbabies strut the runway under the evening lights.

Organizers also set an early-morning Pet Walk in Megaworld from 6AM-8AM and an All-Breed Fun Match in the afternoon, both designed to highlight Bacolod as a safe, welcoming place for animals, especially dogs, to gather and celebrate freely.

More than just a festival side event, Petskara underscores the growing recognition of pets as family, reminding everyone that the spirit of Gugma—the foundation of MassKara’s inclusivity—extends to all living beings.
