Just an update. Hopefully we will have our first Vaccination Clinic (unfortunately for dogs only) at our home in San Vicente around the end of May and beginning of June at a cost of $5 for the 5 in 1 shot (Distemper,Parvo,leptosprosis, hepatitis and influenza) and our Oct Spay/Neuter Clinic will be Oct 11th, 2026 at the Institute Puerto Armuelles in El Palmar and cost will be $20 for dogs and $10 for cats. Registration will be available about 6 weeks before the Spay/Neuter Clinic date. The Vaccination Clinic will be first come first served until we run out of the vaccine. I will post more when I know more.

Our next Spay/Neuter Clinic is in the planning phase for Oct 2026 with a goal of 150 animals. In the meantime we are jump starting our fundraising events. Next month we are going to be actively asking local Puerto Armuelles businesses and the Municipality for monetary funds to assist us. We also are going to start a Raffle fundraising event in the next few weeks ( Raffle items will be household items like TV , microwave,air fryer, pots and pans and dishes) another fundraising ideas is an old fashion Cake walk , Bingo and Cake competitions.

Our first Spay/Neuter Clinic sponsored by Amigos de Animales de Puerto Armuelles and was a roaring success. Final count of 189 dogs/cats that will no longer contribute to the over population and have already started plans for another Clinic in October
