It's the middle of winter here at Tir na nÓg, and Trevalda Mountain Duke is back in and enjoying some more training.
His first crop of foals are already proving to be highly sought after, with both of his colts now sold. It's exciting to see the quality, temperament, and potential he is passing on to his young stock.
We do still have one very special filly available, Tir na nÓg Mountain Dara. She is an exceptional young horse with a bright future ahead of her and a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to secure a quality Irish Hunter youngster.

And just like that Tir na nÓg Mountain Reagan is sold! Its going to be hard saying goodbye to this likeable chap, but we know he will be well loved in his new family. All our available youngstock are well handled and very sociable. Question is which one of the kids will be first to ride him, in the future???

Full circle. People have been good to me.

We love getting visitors at Tir na nÓg and today it was from Lynley Bolt and her husband Ross. We first met Lynley on a David Landreville hoof trimming course and then again on a horse reproduction course at Equibreeds. We share many common interests including breeding sound horses with good temperaments. Lynleys stud, LB Performance horses breeds PRE's and Aztecs. We both agree that NZ riders are looking for user-friendly horses and that responsible breeding is the key. We are looking forward to the spring when Lynley comes down again to teach a working equitation clinic.
