Christchurch has an incredible not-for-profit rescue doing amazing work for Kiwi rabbits with nowhere else to go 🐰 Christchurch Rabbit Rescue - saving the world, one bun at a time.

Since 2021, they’ve stepped in for a steady stream of “found rabbit” posts with no home in sight. Every rabbit is vaccinated, desexed and microchipped, with potential homes carefully vetted before adoption. They also provide any vet care a rabbit needs to live comfortably - from dental work through to lifelong care for rabbits who can’t be rehomed.

Here’s something that surprised us... all of their rabbits live in foster homes, not a shelter. That means every bunny is truly known - quirks and all - long before they find their forever home.

Right now, Christchurch Rabbit Rescue is in need of:
🐾 Burgess rabbit pellets
🐾 Bath mats, blankets & towels
🐾 Newspaper
🐾 Donations
