Charlie gave her seal of approval to the new catio additions 👌6 months old and officially entered into her first (and potentially last 😅) two cat shows! Palmerston North 27th July & Napier 7th Sept. Hope to see some friendly followers there! Mark it in your calendars ✨️

If you told me a month ago that I would have my husky AND my MC in the same room together, let alone ON. MY. KNEE. TOGETHER. I would have bet money against it!!!! But alas. This afternoon was that day 🤯🥰 So proud of how far Khan has come. LOOK AT THIS!! Literally made me tear up lol I thought it would take us months on end (if ever!) to get to this point! I'm still not taking too many chances. We are still going slow. He is still wearing his E-collar but I haven't had to use it for the last two nose-to-nose intersactions. This wasn't forced. It happened on their terms and I'm super stoked they now both have an intimate, posistive interaction under their belts 🤗
Excuse the terrible tv noise and the mess in the baclground i was in bed most of the day as I woke with a terrible migraine BUT this is too good not to share 💖 and for them to both switch off and crash out afterwards was just the cherry on top 🍒🤌

Was a nice trip to Palmy yesterday for the Palmerston North Cat Club - NZ show. Took Charlie for a cruise to see how she would handle the drive and being relatively confined for a day 😅 She did very well imo, I was so proud of her. She's such a well rounded wee gal that's always ready to explore! I love her SO much! Still kicking myself for not entering her - not that she's perfect show type - but just to gauge how she would handle it and get judges feedback - especially one in particular!! I didn't get any photos, but Sharon Kalani from TICA (USA Judge - not pictured) was brilliant to watch! Absolutely gutted I missed her judging the MCs as she is a wealth of knowledge. Incredibly patient, understanding, and happy to educate in a delightful manner. Her commentary was informative, and her interaction with the crowd made you feel included. Would definitely make an effort to attend any shows she was judging at!! If anyone knows whether she has a page to follow, I'd love a link 🙏 I've tried searching (which is how I know her name 🤭) but no luck - Just a personal one. Thanks to Jo for taking us both with her 💕 It was really nice to put some names of breeders to faces, and chat with some avid maine c**n fans. We handed out a few cards so if we met you yesterday and you have found us here.. Hi! 👋 Will definitely enter her in a show this year so keep an eye out for which one! Possibly Palmy in July 🤔 definitely Patches & Pointed Inc in Napier in Sept (if we don't do Palmy OR if we do, and she doesn't enjoy it). Would love to attend the National show in Auckland in 4 weeks for learning purposes, but not sure I'll make it. We'll see 👀
