Dear Cookie came for a tidy up today, he is 15 and has a very oily coat, often encountered with older dogs. Although groomed regularly, he struggles with knots and needs a close trim for hygiene and easy management purposes. Oldies always need a bit of extra care and attention.

Spent a couple of days with this little rascal “Roxy”. Roxy is a 9 mth old staffy, she came for a bath and nail trim. And stayed for some socialising. Too cute! See you next time Roxy.

Today’s challenge - hand stripping 10 year old Rocco (border terrier). Rocco hadn’t been groomed since September last year and in the words of his owner “he is the Farah Fawcett of Borders”. Very much the blown out blonde.

He was super patient and coped really well throughout. Huge thank you to Tara Barnett for making the trip down from Palmy to assist. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have wanted to take this on without you.
