Kia Ora!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on this page & I thought it was about time we caught up 🥰

If you didn’t know already, my partner and I relocated to Otorohanga in January where I had big plans for TWW but as time went on I decided to settle into our new whare, take in my surroundings and navigate this new journey day by day which meant taking a step back from all things horses and it’s been refreshing!

With winter in full swing & my horses still in waikaretu, you probably won’t see much action here until warmer and drier weather arrives!

In saying that, I have also started a new line of mahi that has always been another one of my callings - looking after rural whenua maaori so my time has become very limited but keep your eyes peeled for summer!

I hope that everyone has been well and is keeping warm 😊

Ngaa mihi,
Amber x

A wicked experience!

Trek for Life NZ, Stage 4, March 23rd - 31st 2024.

King Country (route planning is still in the process but will roughly be Kawhia to Taumarunui).

EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.
Do you love exploring? Have you dreamt about discovering New Zealand?
Well, look no further than this unique way to experience our country.
If you love horse riding, mountain biking or walking/hiking then this annual, week-long adventure is for you - while also helping us to raise funds for the First Response and Rescue Services in the community.
Around March every year, we traverse a clearly marked route for 6 days, with a rest and relaxation day in the middle. Most days, the distance from camp to camp is between 25 and 35km, trekking through places that many travellers generally do not have access to - so expect some amazing, untouched and unique perspectives of New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and scenery.

Sunday Afternoon out for the girls ⚡️

Afternoon e hoa mā,

I hope that everyone has had a wicked day.

Just thought I would put it out there as I have a few spots left.

I have Thursday mornings/early afternoons allocated to travelling around and riding other peoples horses who may not have the time to do it themselves. So if you are looking for someone to ride your horse weekly/fortnightly to keep them in light to medium work over the colder seasons don’t be shy to flick me a message 😊

Mōrena ⚡️

What better way to start the morning than showing you what we get up to at TWW…

Floated Pippie in from Taumaranui & her progress has been wicked. From a young horse that was barely handled and not use to human touch to a sweet girl that’s willing & eager to learn. What more could you really ask for!

The perfect kids pony in the making 🤩
